I mean is there any official proof that she did tests and passed required IQ? World is full of PR stunts that does stink when you look more closely...so i'm little bit suspcious.
I'm definitelt agree that she does have way higher than average IQ but MENSA...? So, is there any official proof by MENSA or there is just Wikipedia entry and few magazine articles about that?
Edit: An example about PR stunt is Sharon Stone case who was lauded as MENSA member but all this was PR stunt.

I frequented her chatroom back in the 90s, and I would suppose that she is MENSA material. Certainly a real geek when it comes to writing code and other software issues.

One who is webmistress and did excelled Unreal Tournament Deathmatches certainly has MENSA material ;)
But IS she actually proven MENSA member?
Indeed, if i caught her in chatrooms or forums, then i can ask this question more directly (not THIS question Rubberhole :P)

That was back in the 90s. Since she had her child and has been widowed, I doubt that she spends significant time chatting with fans from her porn days back in the 90s. But you can check it out for yourself at www.asiacarrera.com. Best of luck.

Its not like MENSA is that big a deal. Not all that hard to get into and there isn't really anything fantastic that goes with membership. (was going to get in at one time until I went to a "mixer". Biggest group of blowhards and snobs ever)

Back in the 90ies she definitely was a Mensa member.
But I don't know if there is any online proof of that. It was confirmed by Mensa in their own magazine. A picture of that article used to be on Asia's website, but it's gone now.

I agree that Asia Carrera's MENSA background was documented back in the 90s, and given the changes in her life since then perhaps her family obligations have superseded her interest in maintaining MENSA credentials.

I remember taking a MENSA test in Omni magazine in the early 80s and thinking it was a promo stunt to make people think they're smarter than they are.

Edit: "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" TV series on 4th epsode tells story about Asia and does show her MENSA member card: Jessica 60400793, valid to 3/31/2107.
