I agree she probably shouldn't do porn. It's good she's done with it.
I hate to see her leaving porn. I liked her face and her body and she seemed to have fun. I never had a problem with her filming only with her boyfriend. I never do, the most important thing for me is that I get to see a pretty girl having sex and getting the impression that she is enjoying it. Which she gave me.
That said, if she has mental issues and is aware of it, good for you Asuna, and you're making the right decision. It's a tough business and you need to be strong not to get sucked into it and drown in it. Funny thing is, her reply to Quasar's accusations doesn't sound the least bit like she's having issues - it's an incredibly mature response. No accusations thrown back in his face other than telling him not to be a judgemental jerk, and even that she did in a polite way. No insults, no bitching, just stating her point. I'm very much impressed, and I wish there were more people like her nowadays.

Well, we don't know what her mental illness is or the extent of it, but people with mental illness are perfectly capable of being high functioning mature adults with proper treatment or compensating regimens.

Here is another example of why only getting some of the info is worst than getting all of it because it leaves to much space to come up with varying opinions. Some will think that what Mike did was terrible while others like me don't. I think he was being honest about a situation that should never have occurred in the first place because Asuna should have cancelled a shoot she was not in a position to perform in. She wrote that she was not feeling well but I suspect needed the money and couldn't afford not to shoot so showed up anyway. As far as I can tell Mike directed all of his anger toward Asuna's agent who should have made sure she was ready to go.
Hopefully Asuna finds the professional help she needs and stays away from the adult entertainment industry since it doesn't seem to be a good mix for her.
I think it's more than reasonable for a performer to say she doesn't want to appear in incest themed movies, regardless of her mental state. When did incest become the new normal. Best wishes to this young woman on her new life.
^Of course she does but this is not something that a performer can tell a producer the day she shows up to shoot a scene for him/her. That particular conversation should have been with her agent who is the one who booked the shoot and if we want to be really precise. Her hard and soft limits should all have been discussed the day she met and signed with her agent so that he/she could then upload the info to her model's page. No producer will book a performer to a shoot that he knows she will not do because that's both stupid and a waste of time. That's why Mike wrote what he did in regards to her agent.
I'm looking at her amazing TushyRaw scene which I'm happy about, but I'm making a big *sigh* right now because it's going to be one of her last scene, and you can see she's hardly tweeted since her issue with Mike Quasar. I never had a good feeling about Asuna Fox anyway because of her only doing shoots with her BF from the start, and historically when it comes to other performers who do that then it's too limited. Usually, when a porn girl has a "boyfriend only" requirement, it's because the guy insists on it and so she tries to have the best of both worlds by doing porn AND maintaining her relationship. And this is fine for a few scenes, but it mostly doesn't work long term because all of her scenes start to look the same. Nancy Ace has done okay with only working with Martin, but even so I'll bet she doesn't shoot near as much as she would if she worked with other male performers. But Nancy Ace is one of the few legit 10's that's ever appeared in porn. So she can have that requirement and still have a career of sorts.
In Asuna Fox's case, it seems like the "boyfriend only" tag was more about protecting her mental state while doing this activity, i.e. shooting porn, that most women don't do and would probably find traumatic. I mean, it's not exactly the normal path for a young woman and if she's carrying around these other insecurities, it just sort of screams that this is not someone that should be doing porn.
