I just got a new computer and I chose an Asus P5Q motherboard because it suits my needs well. The thing I wanted to comment on is it's power saving feature called the "EPU-6 Engine".
It's neat and seems to be working properly but what I wanted to drawn attention to is one of the graphs. Nowhere in any documentation have I been able to find any hint at what "Tranquility" is supposed to mean in relation to my pc. Like when it goes on "standby" is it actually meditating?
I like the carbon calculator thing though.

EDIT: I am a bit sketchy on what the differences between "convenience" and "performance" are as well, but at least I associate both of those words with my computer running well. But tranquility?
If anyone wants any more screen shots or an explanation of what the settings (the bomb, the air plane, etc) are let me know.
EDIT- Typos.

I think I would take "Tranquility" to mean that the computer is running efficiently and in a state of balance, with everything working together in reasonable harmony.
Edit - If I'm reading that graph right, your system appears to be tilted towards Reliability and convenience. But I have no reference. Just a guess.

I love your posts.
For now I am going to operate on the idea that the new computer is focusing it's chi to better serve my needs. Or ki if your into Japanese.
The EPU-6 engine thinger seems happy except it can't regulate the power of my graphics cars and it might be feeling a bit unhappy about that. Come to think of it. Maybe that is why it hasn't reached a state of full tranquility, because it is somehow out of balance with it's true nature. Maybe it uses a totem animal? Like if I can get some bees to build a hive inside it it will become tranquil and harmonious?
When graphics cards come bundled with a game it shouldn't be a fucking real time strategy. I hate that style of game I am fucking disorganized and inefficient.
