Between tax and shipping/handling, I couldn't quite figure out if this was a better deal for me or not, purchasing a single DVD in California. It would definitely be the best deal if I were buying two or more...
I tried to "almost" purchase a Titan title from both this site and DVD Explorer, but I couldn't get far enough along on the DVD Explorer purchase to get a final price comparison. (Grrrr... I really hate how some sites only add up the tax and S/H charges AFTER the final click...)
A bit of a correction: Titan's direct prices are the same as they were a couple of weeks ago. And yes, like most studio-direct sites, they charge closer to "full retail" than I'd like to pay...
The bargain I pointed out was specific to one title alone: Arousal is still available for $29.95. (I'm thinking they've dropped the price point for softcore DVD, and even the best discounters are basing their price on the higher MSRP...)
