| Mojo Deactivated User 1223 Posts 9/03 |  Posted - Aug 23 2007 : 2:37PMI've been downloading clips and transferring them to blank DVD's via my Roxio program for quite some time now. Most of them work okay, but occasionally I find one that, despite working okay whilst on the hard drive, has a strange effect on the sound when I transfer to DVD. Thing is, on these occasional clips the sound is ahead of the video. In other words you hear someone say or do something a few second before their lips move. (???) Any ideas what's wrong here and how I can stop it from happening? Like I said, it doesn't happen all the time, only on the occasional clip. [Link] |

Contiguous files are easier to process and burn. That is just my experience and it would be a free fix if it works for you. Also get NERO (just my advice, I don't like roxio). [Link] |

If you do a defrag let me know how things work afterwards. Also are you writing from a just nearly full drive? I get better results when I have 20 gigs free as opposed to 10 MB when I burn movies. But saying that, most of my clips are in WMV and most of them work okay. NERO, Hmm....I had NERO once but it was always making my computer crash, so I took it back and was told that NERO did that with some computers. So I bought Roxio instead and no troubles as far as computer crashing goes. [Link] |
