As for the "attitude"this sort of disappoints me,as August has displayed this type of new aggression in other vids recently,like in an Anabolic or Diabolic tape(I forget which).I really do prefer her more sweet natured persona,but maybe that's what she does to get "in the zone"when she's doing certain types of scenes.Or maybe that's how she wants to perform now.

One of my favorite scenes is with her and(believe it or not)Randy West.I think it's her first appearance in Up and Cummers.Just the playful look on her face as she mounts Randy is golden!!But you also catch her getting back into pornstar mode during a part where she's lying on her side waiting for Randy.She reacts to a comment with a laugh,but then immediately adopts her "game face".I prefer her when she's smiling,having fun(or pretending to)and not trying to be anything else.

August does seem to have taken on a more "pornstar"-like attitude.

I remember some of her earlier scenes. like in To Completion #3 (Rosebud), and Lex the Impaler #2 (Evil Angel), where she had a real innocence about her that was balls-tightening! Oh well, I guess we can't have everything.

Sad about no cowgirl. That was one of the things I was drooling in anticipation over seeing. August in cowgirl is one of the hottest sights known to mankind!

And I have not seen "AW6" yet and it will probably be a while before I do. I fully expect the scene to be disappointing. Anything that highly anticipated will not be that great.

I will watch it and enjoy it. I don't anticipate boring of August just because she gave in and did anal. That's what I've been asking her to do for over a year now. I will just wait around and hope there is a second anal scene on the way.

He's got a point. As I alluded to in my post, no first for any girl is going to be all that great and that is magnified tremendously with a situation like August's where she has been around so long and so many have been dying to see her finally do anal.

I have fallen victim to this too but with the gonzo so prevalent there is a very real overemphasis on scene length. Tell someone that in your opinion a certain scene may have actually in fact been too long and they'll look at you like one would look at a crazy person. Remember the days when scenes were typically 12-15 minutes long? That wasn't so long ago. 30 minutes for August's scenes sounds about right for today's biz, though since it is such a special moment and the DVD is the director's cut I can see people expecting the scene to be like 40 minutes long. As long as those 30 minutes are hot I won't miss the other 10. But I want to stress that as a fan I can see where tritone would say he thought the scene too short. I've found myself thinking similarly when watching scenes I had really looked forward to. It's a difficult impulse for directors like Jordan to satisfy.

Cowgirl-

No cowgirl anal? That is too bad. But I beg to differ on the statement that August in cowgirl is the best. No, the best is August in doggy style filmed in POV especially if she has her legs together and not spread out. I believe Jules did this with her in their Rosebud scenes and he just lets her work back and forth on him. It's amazing to see and must have been more so for him to experience.

I just felt there wasn't enough of a prolonged focus on a specifc anal position as there has been in other ass worships.

For example, in Ass Worship #2, we get a terrific prologned "POVish" shot of Jules doing Ryan Conner's asshole in reverse cowgirl.

In AW3, we get plenty of good, close up footage of Jeanie Rivers getting anal in cowgirl.

There was just too much moving around and August putting her hand in the way, etc... I'd say the best "segment" of the anal par was when they were in sort of a sideways "Spoon" position on the couch.

Thing is, I'm not a hardcore "anal or nothing" type fan. I've enjoyed plenty of August performances without anal -- I mean that fine ass is enough!. But the anal was what I got this DVD for.

Like I said before though, Jada/Vanessa make this DVD for me.
