Just my thoughts for the day. I watched Aurora Snow on Howard Stern on the E channel last night. I must say I found an answer Aurora gave awesome! I don't remember the exact quote, but Howard had made reference to something and Aurora said,"...But I don't know you. I know who you are, but I don't know you personally." Then Howard said something like come on baby it's me Howard and that was how Aurora replied. Thought it was awesome. Loved it. A porn star who went on Stern's show who wasn't a Stern freak. I applaud Aurora Snow. Wonder how Howard felt about that off air.
Don't get me wrong...I'm a fan of Howard Stern's, but come on the guy at times is a bag of wind that just won't deflate. He's a lot of talk, but that's all he is. He has a girlfriend who has him wrapped around her finger. He's got a big mouth, though.
I think Aurora Snow came on the show with the right attitude and that's why I think she's great.
The Gag Factor 5 sound byte was a bit much for me. I think the whole bit should have just been left alone...Aurora should have been kind of mad. That was Stern's whole intention of the interview, that damn clip. What an asshole! I think it was degrading.
I believe Stern resents women, particularly pretty ones. He loves women as sex objects but doesn't consider their feelings at all.
Aurora was amazing on the show. Stern always tries to berate adult models/entertainers into doing something embarassing. He tried to get her to sit in that tickle chair and you could tell Aurora wasn't going to comply. Good for her Stern pushes women around way too often on his show. I bet Aurora is never booked on the show again. She has too much independant thought for Stern. He likes women to submit to him.
Stern was very rude to Aurora concerning the Gag Factor clip. Asking if one of her parents was a duck? What an asshole! The next day was even worse because Stern was calling Aurora a dolphin after looking at her pictures. He'll kiss a girl's ass when they're in the studio but bad mouth them after they leave. What a creep.
It should have been a two part episode because a lot more was said in the interview.
I think Stern is terrible... I tried listening to it for a while to figure out the fascination but never got it. I don't know how the circus act stays on the air.
Aurora was and still is my first porn crush and I am happy as heck she stood up to Stern. Sometimes he can be amusing, but the man's ego just explodes so far outward that it is offensive. He seems to believe he can do and say no wrong and that women are simply his toys. Aurora is just too good for that show and that treatment - you go, girl! :)
I agree 100% about Stern & his ego & lack of respect.....but I have to wonder WHY THE HELL do SO MANY women across the country sill(including celebrities/pornstars/etc.) adore, glorify, & praise his every motion!!?...or is all of that just concocted?
Well Jenna Jameson claims that her appearances on his show and movie are what made her a superstar. So many pornstars probably follow suit in the hopes that they too can achieve superstar status (and not have to retire to the Bunny Ranch; not that there's anything wrong with that).
I happened to catch the show last night and I do agree Aurora looked very nice. She still had that sweet girl-next-door look, even with minimal make-up, dressed in a simple tank-top and jeans - altho we all know what an extremely nasty nympho she really is! She took all of Howard and Artie's antics very well (even when they kept asking her to let them gangbang her) but she did appear kind of uncomfortable every time they played her gagging sounds. And the blind guy getting to touch Aurora's face was too much! Its just too bad she didn't let him touch the rest of her body but I'm sure it was a massive thrill for him anyway.

If you're talking about celbrities going on his show, it's for the exposure. As far as his listening demographic, I doubt whether he appeals to a lot of women. His listeners are predominantly male, many of whom are either young or examples of arrested development. The humor is sophomoric and the atmosphere is frat boy .
I hate to be the lone dissenter here, but I find Howard Stern extremely entertaining. While his show has loads of low brow humor, I also find that it has intelligent commentary, and a real feel for what is truley entertaining. Howard is very good at knowing what the public likes in terms of TV shows, news, etc.
That being said, Howard occasionally does things that make me pretty mad. I think he steps over the line from time to time. My line is probably differnet than yours.
With respect to his interview of Aurora Snow, I have mixed feelings. From what I've seen of Aurora on film, she seems like a genuinely nice girl; very different from the porn norm. But, by her own admission, she loves being the center of attention. So, if she can get that by shoving her fingers in her mouth and making gagging noises, all while repeating what they tell her to say, she's going to go it. If she really felt bad about her appearance in Gag Factor, she wouldn't have done that. Fact is, she wanted to be on the show, and do the things they asked, for attention.
It's also no secret that the Howard Stern show is an ENORMOUS money maker. You remember the guys from bumfights.com ? There was a segment on HS about that site one day after KC "found" it and thought it was funny. The founders of the site called in a day or two later (it may have been a week at most). Howard asked them about how much money they were making from sales of the tapes. They replied that they were both MILLIONAIRES as a result of having been mentioned on the show. They did more than 2 million dollars in sales after one segment on HS. This type of media force may have influenced Aurora's desire to be on the show.
Finally, I *do* think Aurora handled her appearance very well. Her refusal to go in the tickle chair and the way she handled it was uncharacteristic and very nice.
Lighten up. Howard is an entertainer and a VERY good interviewer. I for one am glad I heard it and later saw it on E.

I didn't hear Aurora on stern because i don't listen to his show anymore, I find it boring, but My opinion of Aurora has gone up further( if that's possible) because she didn't take any crap from him ( according to all accounts ). I wonder if he thinks he is better than the girls that appear on his show and I am glad when someone stands up to him. It always pisses me off with him being so critical of the looks of his female guests- I mean take away his money and fame and no one would be looking his way either IMO.
