I'm having trouble determining what is to big or not and where I can get the picture from.

Lets say I wanted to add a picture of a album cover, and it's on a page in a cd website. Do I just type in the information? Do I need to transfer the picture somewhere first? Will resizing automatically happens?

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I'm a little confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not a stupid question at all.

The first part of the tutorial where I talk about URL's, it tells how to get the URL. It is always easier to copy and then paste them because many can be a long and complex string of characters and numbers.

Don't transfer the picture some where else. Images that you use must reside on a server somewhere. The picture will not resize itself. So you need to search a site that you want to draw from that has thumbnail size images that you can use.

I'll let you read the part about URL's and how to get them. If you are still having trouble, come back and post again.

Oh, and when you right click on an image to copy the URL, the file size and image size is usually given. You can check on the properties page of the image to make sure it fits the size requirements. To test this, right click on my avatar image, then choose properties in the pop up box. You will see the URL address, the file size, and the dimensions of the image.
