I didn't get many pictures, (because I tend to forget to take them), but I have a few and I will share them here.

It was fantastic meeting everyone who went from ADT. It means so much to me to meet these people face to face. It's the reason I went out, and I'm not disappointed in the least. I'm sure many people (especially BIGmike and Lee) will have a ton of pictures to post that will be far better than those I have here, but these mean a lot to me, and I know you all are anxious to see anything at all, so here'goes:

Cali Cox was signing and engaging in all kinds of fun antics at the show, and I snapped this picture in the middle of one of her impromptu "performances". I stood in a short line just to say hi to her and tell her how good a voice I think she is for the adult industry. She's a really nice lady who seems to genuinely love her job and this business. Cali also graced us with her presence at the ADT party for a while.

I was surprised and delighted to find that Caroline Pierce was signing for Evil Angel. I had my copy of the Fashionistas DVD and I was honored to have her sign it. Caroline has held a soft spot in my heart for a long time now. She doesn't do a lot of work these days, but I always enjoyed the work she did (most noteably in Jim Powers' Chamber of Whores) which she claimed contained one of her favorite scenes (the final scene with Dave Hardman if you can believe it). Anyway, Caroline was a joy to talk to, and since she didn't have a big line, we talked for a few minutes about porn, home towns and tolerance. It was really wonderful to meet her, and Caroline, if you're out there--thanks so much for taking the time to talk to me!

As I was strolling around the expo floor, I wandered by the Ana/Diabolic booth and saw a girl I swear I recognized--but I couldn't place who she was. She had long, black hair and a very pretty face. It took me two or three passes by the booth throughout the day before I recognized her as Judy Star. She had dyed her hair and was looking sexy as ever. The Anabolic booth was a little strange in terms of lines, and Judy didn't seem too keen on staying in one place all the time. But our very own Snowden Porn (who I had met at the breakfast a Denny's--a fantastically nice guy who came all the way from London to be at this event) wandered by and gave me a boost of confidence. We finally got Judy's attention and I got her to sign a poster for me, and she allowed me to take this wonderful photo. I told her how much I enjoyed her work, especially her scene in Internally Yours #3. She said thanks, but seemed somehow uncomfortable meeting the fans (not just me, but everyone). It was too bad she wasn't more receptive, as she is a favorite performer of mine, and a beautiful girl besides:

One of the performers I was most excited to meet was Belladonna. She was no disappointment, and is even more beautiful and sexy in person than she is in her best scenes. She absolutely exudes a love for her work, and a love for her fans as well. I stood in a short line to see her and talked to her briefly about Fashionistas and some of her other work in general. I didn't have my DVD on me that day, but I brought it back on Friday and she happily signed it for me and my wife (also a big fan of hers). I know that not everyone agrees, but Belladonna is a beautiful and special girl, and meeting her in person was a real treat for me.

Another one of the important women on my "hope to see" list was Ashley Blue. I hadn't heard if she was going to be signing anywhere before the show so I didn't know if she would be there. I was glad to discover her at the JM Productions booth, promoting her recent performance as the Girlvert in Girlvert #2. The only other DVD I brought that I was hoping to get signed was Service Animals #10. Again, I didn't have it the first day, but I talked to her briefly about her performance in that video and she mentioned that she was also going to be in an upcoming Service Animals #13 (which is not released yet). She said the scene won't be as intense as that in 10, but I didn't care and was excited at the prospect of watching her in another Joey movie. As a side note, I saw some more footage of her scene in Slave Dolls at the Elegant Angel booth (which again is not quite released yet). It was fucking amazing footage though, with Ashley in nipple clamps being dominated by Roxanne Hall and Manuel Ferrara. I'm excited to see it. And it was really a pleasure to meet Ashley--who I think along with Julie Knight is one of the most gutsy and giving performers out there--setting a new precedent for emotional and sexual generosity in pornographic performance. I think Ashley is very beautiful and very special, and I equally love this picture I took of her with a sheer black body stocking she wore on Friday of the expo. I finally got her to sign Serivce Animals 10 for me, and again, Ashley, if you're out there--thanks for taking the time to talk, and thanks for this beautiful photo! It's definitely my favorite one of those I took.

Similarly, I was elated to see Julie Knight, and a talked with her for a bit about Service Animals 10 (which she signed for me) and her upcoming scene in Mason's Dirty Trixxx #2 (which by all accounts is absolutely out of control--I can't wait to see it). Julie was really nice and very appreciative of her fans. It meant alot to me that she took the time to talk. I did get a good picture of her, but unfortunately, it also has me in the frame... and although I don't have a problem posting pictures of myself, this one is especially hideous, so I'll just hope that someone else took a good picture of Julie for everyone's benefit.

I saw Kaylynn--one of my favorites, signing for Evil Angel. She is absolutely gorgeous, but I should have gotten in line the first day to see her. She gives her all when posing for pictures, and there were fairly long lines to see her. I made a mistake in not waiting though, as I would really have enjoyed the chance to tell her how much I enjoy her performances. I hear she's very sweet, and I know for a fact that she's gorgeous, but I was a dumbass and missed my opportunity to talk to her.

The same goes for Jenna Haze, who I watched largely from afar. I'm awed by her, for her beauty and sexual performance (albeit... not so much with JKP, of course), but her lines were just too long, so I didn't ever get the chance to talk with her or get a picture.

Den from CAVR and I finally hooked up after a long while of telling a number of poor ADTers and mutual friends that we were looking for each other. We didn't know what each of us looked like, so that made it hard. Tricia finally solved the mystery for us, and it was nice to hang out with Den for a while during the show.

I saw much more, and had good interactions with other stars (including Katie Morgan, Anne Marie (another Service Animals 10 signer), and of course, Tricia Devereax) one or two directors (including Jules Jordan, Eric Everhard, and John Stagliano), and of course all those from ADT who attended the expo. The ADT party was really great, and Bisexual Britney showed up without incident. It was nice to see her too, although I didn't get the chance to talk with her. Mason (unfortunately still attired in a burka) and William H. even showed up for the ADT party, which meant alot to me. They were great to talk to, and William H. is a hoot. His latest movie will be Tails of Perversity #9, which is to be released soon, and by his description contains some pretty perverse and down-right hysterical content. I'm looking forward to it. Also in attendence at the party were Den from CAVR, Manuel Ferrara, Joachim (black performer from Service Animals 10), Eric Everhard, Jules Jordan, Constance Le, Alex Ladd, Cali Cox, Kimi Lixxx (who I didn't really get to talk to... dammit!), Tricia Devereaux, John Stagliano, Roger Pipe, Jeff and Peter from RAME, Kelly Steel, Diesel and Shannon from Adult DVD Empire and a number of other important people who I'm forgetting at this time, along with all the great ADT folk.

I took another picture of me with fellow ADTer Bono-ONE, but I want to get his permission before I post his pic.

All in all, personally I had a really great time, and if I have the chance I'll go again next year to meet up with more ADT friends and take the opportunity to see some of the producers and directors and the wonderful and beautiful female and male performers who give so much of themselves to make these movies for us. My only regret is that my wife wasn't able to join me because of work. She would have had a fantastic time--and would have especially enjoyed meeting Belladonna. I know this update is a personal point of view and may not interest you all, but maybe you'll at least get something out of the pictures. :)

The party was fun last night but very stressful for Steph and I. We didn't get the suite we were supposed to be in at the Riviera. They put us in a much smaller room a few hours before the party was to begin.

Today we had a great chance meeting with Henri Pachard. (Well, it wasn't so much by chance. Steph ran up and practically grabbed him.) Henri sat and talked with me and Steph, Jeff from IAFD.com and Mrs. Rog for a while. Rog eventually finished the interview he was doing and joined us. (I think Rog is still on cloud 9.) It was truly an honor to meet Henri.

Time to finish packing, more to follow when we get home.

(I know there were others...my mind just isn't in full function mode!)

And where else and how else can a lowly porn reviewer get a chance to talk with John Stagliano right before he gets up to accept back-to-back Rog Awards? Certainly not at an event as crowded and chaotic as the AVN Convention!
