What constitutes a new starlet...as opposed to an old one? For that matter, what's a starlet?

AVN's Mike Ramone should answer this. It seems to be vague. I know that I have contacted AVN many times about this and they usually say '16 months'.

I know a few years ago 2 actresses made their debuts in the same movie and one won Best New Starlet 1995 and the other won best New Starlet 1996!

They should state the eligibility dates for the nominations.

Good luck in getting an answer.

Starlet means New Star (Newbie).

If it was up to me, Jasmine Byrne would take the award. However, with that not being the case, I think the award will go to Hillary Scott.

Also, while a Joanna Angel win would be really cool, I don't think it will happen - I don't think she got enough exposure to get the votes.

Im not disappointed that I didnt get a nomination. I didnt expect one, and I dont care either way (even if I was nominated for something). Its just not on my 'IMPORTANT' list. I like knowing I have fans. I like hearing what people have to say about my performances. I like seeing all the good scenes Ive done. I like criticizing the bad scenes Ive done (boy have there been a lot) I like my job. I dont do it for nominations. So yea. But I really hope my wife wins. I would be soo happy. I will be at the awards show to support her and her 9 nominations. I love you baby. I'm so happy for you. I have to take you out to celebrate. You are an amazing performer. You know Ive always loved your performances. Yes people I do watch her movies. And I circle her box covers in my AVN magazine with a red sharpie. hehe. If she doesnt win I dont know who else to vote for. I have never seen these other girls at work. I did a girl girl with Taryn once but ya know. I cant judge her by that. Anyway.

Oh wow, isn't it a shame? I'm even a virgin if it comes to watching a scene with any of the AVN Best New Starlet nominees. However, it won't be too long until my Hillary Scott scene cherry and my Sunny Lane scene cherry will be picked (unless Cursive keeps fucking me so good that I'm not able to watch porn anymore).

As for who will win, my only information is whose name I've read most often at ADT, and that's definitely Hillary. There has been almost the same amount of Taryn talk at some point, but Hillary had a headstart of a few weeks, I think.
When I posted here for the first time, everyone talked about Keri (and Teagan), but these girls had their peaks at the end of 2004, at least ADTwise. That's the reason why Hillary would win over Keri if it was the ADT Awards. As for the AVN awards I have no fucking clue. I just checked out who won what last year, and after having read "JM Productions" a thousand times I decided I'm not an expert.
