But yeah if my vote mattered I'd vote for Shyla. I think a serious argument could also be made for Darcie Dolce. She has her fan base which I consider myself to be a part of. She's been working her ass off with the amount of scenes she's been in this year. I wouldn't personally cast my vote for Darcie but I wouldn't be mad at her if she won it. You make it sound like every scene Darcie's been in she just lays there like a log while staring at the camera which is simply not true. Like I've said before she's not the greatest g/g performer of all time but she's definitely not the worst either. Studios keep hiring her because she's beautiful, capable and dependable. [Tweet is no longer available] Out of that list I'd say the top 3 possible winners (all-girl PotY) are Shyla, Jenna and Darcie based on the popularity they've enjoyed in 2017. Shyla just won the 2016 award which in my opinion raises Jenna and Darcie's chances. I think Penny Pax has done some really good g/g scenes this year but alas she doesn't qualify because she's also done b/g. Click to expand I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. In my opinion, any scenes of hers worth watching are ones where her partner drags her into having a good scene. Again, in my opinion, Darcie cannot make a scene better by herself. She needs a top-notch performer willing to take that extra effort to coax even a passable scene out of her. [Link]

I'd also add Hennesy, but European girls rarely get enough work in the US to get noticed for nominations. She's my favourite g/g performer full stop. [Link]

However, the most popular porn star of this year is Lana. She, also, happens to be an amazing performer. There is simply no way you could make a list of b/g or g/g performer of the year without Lana. This reminds me of the couple years where Tori Black was the central figure in porn. People would throw out other names for this and that award. But, truthfully, it was just the contrarian nature of people. I'll stick with my statement that 10 years from now we will look back on the last couple years as the Lana Rhoades era. She is a Ginger Lynn, Jenna Jameson, Tori Black kind of figure in porn. [Link]
