I know the AVN Awards are really not like the Oscars (where peers nominate and select a "best" in each category) or Golden Globes (where the Foreign Press votes, whoever they are). AVN is a magazine that presumably selects their own nominees and winners. But, how, exactly? Who decides? Do they form committees, or is it just the Editor In Chief? Is it the same people selecting a winner as who selected the nominees? Eli used the word "we" several times in his post, which suggests he is a part of the process. How does that work? [Link] |
