Why not talk about sex before Cowboys game.) In the "New Starlets" thread I was critical of AVN but I these nods aren't nearly as bad. Based on that other list I'm surprised that Taylor St. Claire isn't nominated here for a third year in a row or that last year's winner, Nikita Denise, isn't nominated. Neither girl deserve to be though because they haven't done shit this past year (semi-retirement) so at least AVN is somewhat timelier (is this a word?) with these choices. However, Bella was definitely quieter this year as was Aurora Snow but they still worked so they get nods. That all being said, Savanna Samson and Sunrise Adams as nominees is a joke. Savanna I can understand better but not Sunrise. I have been bored by her work and her new boob job with Vivid. I would say the same thing about Devinn Lane and Monique. For me Performer of the Year the past 2 years was Ms. St. Claire and she was at least nominated each year though she lost to Aurora and Nikita respectively. This year the girl I would consider performer of the year is not nominated. Where the hell is Arianna Jolle? Screw Best New Star. She is the performer of the year. I might even put Katja Kassin on this list too. That might be a bit of a stretch though. However, the inclusions of Ashley Blue, Jessica Darlin, and Taylor Rain on the list provide some cred for me. Kelly Not a perfect list at all. However, enough good choices on there to sedate me. I'm guessing that Arianna will get her recognition next year. The rest have no chance. There are two women who will make it for sure who don't show up at all on this list. (Not to give it away, but both are Asian.) I'm starting to think that 2003 was a down year for porn in general and certainly for performers. Bella and Aurora both tore it up last year. I don't think anyone touched them this year. During the last year she worked for all the main gonzo companies (Ana/Dia, RLD, Evil Empire, Zero Tolerance, PXP, Evolution etc...), going all the way with DPs, A2Ms, even taking trannies up her butt, with a great enthusiasm. While other top performers recently got a little bit tamer (Aurora, Bella) and some other on the list had always been just jokes (Devinn Lane???
