| pornlaw Member 578 Posts 10/05 | As a follow-up on the thread about Vanessa Blue's comments on misogynistic scenes, here's a story on a bill currently in the Arizona legislature that could make companies producing this type of content civilly liable to the victim's of felonies (rape) for the content they produce. There are a huge hurdles for the plaintiff to overcome, but it is a bill that is very chilling to the freedom of speech and First Amendment rights. I question if this bill will actually become law, and if it does, whether a jury would ever award damages against a company.
