I bought this solely to see Nacho ravish Avy and it didn't disappoint.
Despite this, the simulated DP with the bottle shown on the back of the boxcover was nowhere to be seen. Has anyone else noticed this or was my copy chopped?

Edited to stop any further monkey comments.

...Not, I don't think Your copy was chopped. I believe all copies seem to be chopped because mine didn't have that segment with Avy neither. Now I remember why the dvd didn't do it for me. I don't like to say it but this happen with Evil Angel videos from time to time. They will show something on the boxcover that you won't get to see in the actual movie. ..What bothers me is that when it happens, it happens mostly with dps ...Thankfully Beautiful Girls #10 didn't have this problem. In the video Nikki Montana gets dp'ed in exactly the same manner that she is portrayed on the dvd case (sideways dp)

What ???

Tell me you guys are bullshiting because I ordered this dvd just because of the 'bottle DP' shown on the cover !

Have you looked in the 'extra footage' section ?

Even the Evil Angel website has this picture promoting this film, so why would it not be in the film ?

Wally and Hardz:

Thanks for getting back to me. No, I haven't checked the extra footage, and I shouldn't have to. The fact that Evil Angel is using this picture to promote the film led me to believe that the bottle DP was an integral part of the scene. As Wally mentioned, this isn't the first case of misrespresentation on an Evil Angel boxcover. I'm outraged.

I checked the extra footage and there's no sign of the bottle DP. Perhaps I'm just a useless twat.

I'm the one who worked on this DVD, and I don't remember the bottle DP either.

Nacho worked on the box with the graphic artist AFTER the movie was edited, so I'm not sure why he would pick that picture if he for some reason had to make a decision to not use it in the movie, or if there was no video footage of it.

I'm not passing all of the blame on Nacho. Although I had already turned the movie in to authoring and the replicator by the time I saw the boxcover, I should have been more thorough of making sure everything matched.

Once again, I apologize. We are trying really hard to be careful about the still pictures on the boxcovers, and we have made some really good catches on some Christoph and Rocco covers where someone in the DVD dept. noticed as they were working on the chaptering that a certain still picture's action wasn't in the movie, so we had the graphic artist company remove that picture.
We're not perfect, but we do try.

Tricia: We're not perfect, but we do try.

Hey, that's all I ever ask, slip-ups happen, but I didn't mind not seeing it, in fact, I had watched the whole DVD before I even really looked at the boxcover. So obviously I didn't notice anything missing.

Tricia:

I first saw the picture of the bottle DP on the EA website long before the boxcover was ready. The thought of it has had me frothing at the mouth ever since and largely influenced my buying decision, so I was slightly more disappointed than BIGmike when it wasn't in the movie.

I'm not going to launch into a diatribe, although I was pretty pissed off this morning. I know these things happen and I appreciate your rapid acknowledgement that a mistake was made.

I can't be so forgiving, because it's not simply 'just a sex position' but a visual interpretation of an act that is clearly designed to sell the film and for Nacho (or whoever)deciding not to include it in the film or as extra on dvd is gross and blatant false advertising.

Perhaps Nacho can provide an answer ?

my friend, shit happens. Tricia already apologized for the mistake. I was as dissapointed as Canijo but this is the first Nacho/EA video in a long time so lets give the guy a brake. ..I just hope that if this problem happens again it is with a gape or an a2m that way the ones that don't care much about dps and don't noticed these mistakes can feel my pain

You're right. Since Nacho is obviously hiding from this topic here, he must be guilty of doing this on purpose, right?
Believe me, by this point in time, John and I have already sent a fax to Nacho which will be followed by a phone call to Spain on Monday. (Sorry, but even good ol' Tricia isn't going to get involved in a phone call to a director on a holiday weekend.) The internet dept. will also be taking down the still picture on or by Monday.

But I'll tell you what Nacho's answer will most likely be: he fucked up. I can't say it won't happen again, but I don't think I'm wrong by saying that he'll understand what a big disappointment this is to his fans and he'll be more careful about it in the future.

Hardz - I have a suggestion for you...
since you ordered the DVD SOLELY because of the picture of the DVD, you will obviously be so disappointed that at this point nothing in the movie will come close to making up for it. So, if it hasn't shipped yet, cancel the order. If the website needs a reason for the cancel, tell them Nacho and Tricia fucked up. They can call me if they need to verify that.

If it has already shipped to you, then I can only offer my apologies to you once again, hope you believe that I can understand how frustrating this can be for someone who saw the picture and was looking forward to seeing it; and hope that you will find at least a couple of things in the movie to at least for a moment enjoy the DVD.

I've had the DVD for more than week, watched it a few times, and have not even been aware that there was something "missing." But maybe I didn't study the box cover very closely.

But to change the subject slightly, I gather from some comment in the behind the scenes that it was shot using Panasonics new 24p camera -- which if so, perhaps accounts for the slightly different feel to the visuals? There's some cool editing, and vaguely special effects type stuff that I liked a lot.

I'm sure it's an honest mistake or someone's
oversight at Evil Angel. It happens more
than you think. There is a lot of stages
a new movie goes through before the final
DVD product.

I just wish Avy just would of took deep
anal from Nacho & not the toy

as someone who only glances at the cover artwork before taking the disc out and putting into a sleeve....it is not that big a deal to me....I look for one thing in regard to cover artwork & websites....an accurate listing of the girls in the video and on that count EA is usually pretty darn spiffy....and while I question the logic of laying down $30.00 for a DVD based on one picture that is what you did and I can understand being upset but an apology has been made....an apology from a person & a company that has been very responsive to the fans....an apology that admits the company screwed up and said company is taking steps to correct future mishaps of this nature....what more do you really want?...take the apology and be gracious about it...

..pictures tell what the girl does in the video. There are some of us (Evil Angel fans) that are not impressed by the girl's pretty face only. Besides I question the logic of going just by the girl's names since many of them have 2-3-4-5-6 akas. Not to mention the usual mispelling of the names. ..But like you said Tricia apologized and that's good enough for me. ..I would like to hear people from Hustler saying the same for the crappy video quality in Woodman's videos or from Dion for showing those lames dps all the time.

Tricia honey, I know I came across a bit harsh but things like this really p*ss me off and I wanted you (Evil Angel)to know that.

My sweetheart and I saw 'Back to Evil' last night and must say, it's damn good.

The bottle scene wasn't the only reason I got this disc, it's also because of Bella.
My girlfriend loves Bella, so the dvd was a must buy !

I'd have loved to see Avy take a deep anal too but Bella's scene alone is worth the price of the disc.

Without going in to, too much detail, the camera angles and editing were great and although I understand the reason for the 'lighting', I'd have perfered some of the scenes to be brighter.

Hardz - thanks.

Glad that you guys ended up enjoying it, especially your girlfriend, becuase the movie does get kind of intense at times. But that's why I love Nacho.

I do feel bad about the picture. I remember looking at the boxcover and thinking, OK, Avy doesn't do anal, but she did take the bottle in her butt in this movie. I barely even looked at Nacho's dick in the picture......

Tricia, just out of interest, would it be realistic to expect a scene of this nature, i.e. inserting a bottle, in an Evil Angel movie? I know there was one back in Never Say Never to Rocco Siffredi, but I wouldn't say it was exactly common!

Gabriel - well, you're right, we haven't had it shown many times, but we're not against it as long as it doesn't seem like some freak show act. I just don't know how many times one company could do it before it starts seeming like just another routine thing thrown in for good measure.

I hear that Avy was excited about, so since she was saving her boy-girl anal for Seymore, Nacho was all too happy to oblige her with a bottle in her bum.

I think Nacho wanted to shoot a European style scene, but he forgot that in Europe bottles go in big end first...

Well, beside the controversy of that tiny little picture, I thought this movie absolutely rocked, big time. Every scene had something a little special in it, and AVy and Bell's scenes were just majestic.
I have always thought of Nacho as a bit of a tosser, but no more! Back 2 Evil has me looking forward to his next movie...
BTW: Loved the style, editing and tone of the visuals too, kind of like feature film gonzo, very cool indeed.
Trica, any indication as to if this is going to be his shooting style/look for the future?

I don't know if this will be a permanent style for everything he does from now on.
It will more likely be a style he uses on a few different series'.
And then other series will be more on the gonzo side.

Thanks again, Tricia. That seems like a wise way to view it! I just wondered if it was a legal/policy decision not to include it. As you're probably aware, in Nacho's Sineplex movies certain acts which might attract unwanted legal attention are pixelated.
Ha! Shame she's saving it for Seymore. Still, doesn't she do some anal dildo play elsewhere?

Reminds me of the pic. of the Savanna Samson DP on the cover of the Rocco Meats and American Angel while the dp scene itself never made the movie. I understand about the mistake but since the previews went up on the website promoting the movie months ago that pic. has been there. My bigger question is not an accusing of false advertising but why he felt the need to cut that part of the scene.

OK - another possibly stupid question. Why would something like this (the bottle DP), which obviously would be extremely popular, be edited out of the scene or the extras?

There is no video footage of it. I checked, and the camera person confirmed it for me too.
I don't know why, I just know it's not there.

You might need to hire a fluffer for the cameraman so he can keep both of his hands on the camera and avoid missing this type of footage.

What !?! What all of sudden makes you think I missed that!!!
Ok my therapist said I should talk about this; …So yeah… I was taking stills
of that glass Dp and as I was done and went to pick up the video camera the monkey
some how broke out of his cage. Grab the bottle and broke it over my head. As I looked up from the floor. I see Nacho taking notes and Avy applauding I turn around to see why and and Oh my God the monkey is ..is… I can’t talk about it any more!
Gees what in world would make you think I would miss that shot???
Wait a minute Bill… come to think about it. “need to hire a fluffier for the cameraman” YEAH I like your thinking Bill and NO the monkey does not count!!!

Yani - I wasn't trying to say that you made a mistake and missed it.

I was more assuming that maybe the stills had been intended for Nacho's website or something and that they didn't even try to do it for video.

And Toby - yes, Mason worked on-set for 3 of the scenes of the video. But that's the only part of Mason's and Nacho's stories that is the same. There's two completely different stories of how much work was done by who, and considering that I watched all of the raw footage and didn't hear Mason's voice except for when she was asking girl's how they felt while they were in the makeup room and saying "cool" when things were over, I have to say that I am completely comfortable in considering this movie 100% Nacho's.

Previous references have been made on ADT concerning my work on Back 2 Evil, and I have purposefully restrained from intervening, out of respect for Evil Angel, Nacho and the amicable terms on which this situation was eventually resolved. But I feel now I have no other choice but to clarify a few misconceptions that have been perpetuated here.

Direction, as Tricia may not be in a position to appreciate, entails a great deal more than verbal instructions during a shoot. The process of casting, vignette conception (of which Back 2 Evil relied heavily upon), acquiring props and locations, preparing talent and orchestrating the introduction and sex acts themselves, all require a directors hand.

Tricia makes reference to raw footage, presuming to grasp the extent of my involvement subsequently after its viewing, however, for the purposes of editing, and the difficulties posed by scrubbing inordinate amounts of audio from captured footage, verbal direction should always be kept to a minimum. It makes the editors job that much easier.

Tricia wrote on a previous thread, when the subject of my role on Back 2 Evil was brought up:

“There was quite a bit of back and forth going on about this, so to settle the matter in my own mind, I went straight to the source. Now, at least for myself, I feel confident that this movie is definitely Nacho.
The idea he says he reluctantly conceeded to, the pseudo-kidnap of Julie Knight, is my least favorite thing in the movie.”

This makes me question the entire veracity of Tricia’s grasp of events, seeing as the Julie Night scene, was one of two that I made no contribution--apart from casting suggestions-- at all.

I want people to know, I am not posting here to argue my role on Back 2 Evil. As far as I am concerned the issue was dead. I remain a fan of Nacho, and in fact just rented and thoroughly enjoyed No Limits 3 on Friday. Perhaps where Tricia and I can agree, is on his undoubted talents in front of the camera. Nacho in my mind is second only to Manuel Ferrara, as the best male performer in this industry.

But I can not allow over-simplifications and inaccuracies to be repeatedly made, without a rebuttal. I have no interest in justifying my contribution. But suffice to say, there is raw footage of the Behind the Scenes that I shot, which charted this movie from the beginning, and which I know substantiates my involvement. Please can this be the end of this tedious and long running saga.

I agree with all of you who complimented this release on its cinematic quality and well thought out and creative scenes.

I was a little disturbed (sadly!) by Bella & Nacho's scene. Don't enjoy seeing Bella in distress and crying - I think it detracts greatly from the scene. You could say that her acting trapped and absused was a little too convincing for me.

(I did love her rough scenes in the Fashionistas, because she seemed to be loving it, and they seemed quite consensual).

I was a bit disappointed in Back 2 Evil.

Some of the scenes seemed too robotic
for my taste.

But an average Nacho/EA release in my eyes.
