Well I have begun to write down my all-time list of favourites and now I am bordering 200 and there are still other ones that could enter from the yearly lists .
I have seen many other models , but I tend to pin down those from whom I have seen more one than 1 scene or pic gallery .

However , within those , a crush is a different category : These models provoke special attraction and almost romantic feelings , even if they are clothed ; and even if they don´t shoot the kind of scenes I want to see .

The tactic of forced memory elimination you describe could only work for me if the model has barely done more than 3-5 scenes , without variety .
But if she has left a catalogue of different acts , I might go and discover her other scenes to see if she could enter the list officialy . Could happen with Nadia Ali in the future , now that the disappointement has been overcome .

This Gibraltarian is among my Top models of all time , and maybe she was a semi-crush for a period of time . ( + One of the best boob-jobs )
However , I can not find a reason to complain for myself , since she has done many scenes for my taste , some among them which I have not yet explored .
Was also around for a long time , so that´s also a plus .

Of course there would be some acts unexplored , which I would like to see her doing should she ever come back to full status .

Viva Athena , Alina Belle ( even though she still lists her agency ) .
I had them even at the top of my fav list for some weeks and gave them preferential treatment .

Furthermore :

Neela Sweet never really took off although I got 2 big glimpses of hope:
First when she did a scene for a second studio and second when her return to the biz was announced ... but nothing .
She could have done what Neela Sky never accomplished .

Binky Beaz was a semi-crush , and I thought she could be a replacement for Viva Athena , Neela Sweet and the recently OF-oriented Shrima Malati .
But alas , when I looked her up again after some time I found out that she has gone almost inactive . ):

Pinky Breeze ( also semi-crush ) almost went from 0 to 100 in her scenes in a short time , only to disappear into uncertainty .

And most disheartenting is the case of Scarlet Domingo , who had been slowly climbing up my fav list with her performances getting more interesting by the months , and just after a new peak scene she announced that she would go lez only .

That´s a series of 7 blows within a short time .
Don´t remember having lived through this before .
( Note that all of them had still been shooting for studios even during Corona )

Posting exclusively ( or almost ) stuff from their OnlyFans-sites at their Twitter adresses .
It goes often hand in hand with not posting anymore plans about future scenes for studios .
Even worse is when some new studio scenes are coming out and the model doesn´t even care to promote them in any way , sometimes not even mentioning them .

I get it that many performers had to resort to OF and similar platforms because of Covid but I don't understand why they wouldn't promote any studio content that is being released.

Btw , there is even something worse than not promoting one´s own scenes shot with studios :
Blocking a user who asks about already existing studio scenes or who tags a model with it ...
It has happened at least with one model -- 1 or 2 years ago i created a thread for an Asian model living in US and another user related how he got blocked by her just for the above reason .

This is when I found out that some models get into a phase where they want to draw all the attention to their own platforms instead of having fans spending money on scenes shot with studios .

My all-time favorite is Taylor Wane. When they were still having Glamourcons in Chicago she almost always showed up, and I would buy stuff from her and give her a birthday present--nothing fancy, just something I thought she would like. She always remembered who I was, and was always glad to see me. But nowadays, when I check her Twitter, she appears to have gone all in for Trump. Trump, for God's sake.

Can you imagine the level of my disappointment? I don't think you can.

I just hope to heaven she comes to her senses after this election is over. It kills me that she supports this bigoted, self serving narcissist.

Me myself have included Shrima Malati , but only bcuz she left at the same time as other models who were similar to her , and my hopes for collaboration were gone ; but otherwise she has shot lots of movies over a long period of time ; so she is not really representative for this topic .

On the other hand Alina Belle would be a perfect example , who after 1 or 2 years of climbing up the ladder suddenly concentrates on OF ...

These are the most extreme cases , where they leave after a few scenes and don´t last longer than some months .

Kai was so quick that I didn´t even have time to include her in my list of promising newbies , bcuz just as I was warming up to her , she had already left ....
