I know this question is a little off topic but it has been bugging me for quite some time. How in the hell do you get rid of razor bumps. I shaved my pubic area about a week ago with a regular disposable razor and was left with them as a consequence.
In addition to what CG_Gurl wrote, I recommend using Tend Skin.
Note: The main active ingredient in Tend Skin is Acetylsalicylic Acid (which is present in a number of skin-care products). Because it's acid based, Tend Skin and its analogues should NOT BE USED DIRECTLY AFTER SHAVING. It will hurt like a motherfucker. So use something soothing right after shaving and use the Tend Skin regularly a day or so later.

And for the love of god! Dont use some crappy disposable razor, use quality stuff, like the gilette mach3. Combine that with some quality shaving foam and aftershave lotion/cream from Biotherm or Clinique and youll be bump free and smoooooth.
Yeah, the Mach III is a great and safe razor, just be sure you keep replacing the cartridges regularly (I'm gonna try the Venus though...thanks for the info). I'll admit, I was hesitant to take the plunge at first, but now, after a couple of years of shaved balls I definitiely agree with what the others have said!
Yep, that works. An alternative is regular hair conditioner--whatever you or your woman use on your head. That's what I use for my girlie parts. And don't forget that aloe vera gel, people!
Yep, the more blades the better. I've went with the 4 blades for a while, and I find it hard to beat the Mach 3. Pagoda beat me to the hair conditioner recommendation. I really prefer it to regular shaving cream since you can see what you're doing much better and it seems to moisturize better.

I did this once... never again. I had sores all over my junk, and when I put hydrogen peroxide on them IT STUNG!!! I mean, hydrogen peroxide has NEVER stung like that... Guess you'd have to ask the Pube Barber for a definitive answer, but my experience tends to confirm the one week standard others have mentioned. I shave my balls and around my shaft. I use regular shaving cream or sometimes the brand Feet. This is a cream which you ad, wait and rinse of the pubic hair.
If my balls are to feel perfectly smooth, it will have to be less than 48hrs. As for the pubes above, they are thick and grow fast and after 24hrs I can definitely feel stubble. I guess this varies greatly from person to person. Some just aren't able to maintain the whole thing smooth.
