Even on sign up, do they still think it generates good will by sneaking subscriptions in to their Ts&Cs? I subscribed to Adult Time and I'm still seeing credit card charges for other services that I didn't see in the sign-up process. I'll never sign up to Adult Time again so what's the point of tricking customers?! [Link]

Eventually most people will forget about that check box. I have several subscriptions most of which I have had for a long time. The more I run into these shady tactics and anti-customer policies, the more the comments I see on other forums like "why pay for porn", I wonder. The porn companies have to be alienating customers which is lost revenue. [Link]

Even worse is that I actually got caught with it, the problem is that I didn't even realise I signed up AND I had no idea WHICH site it was so canceling it was a fucking nightmare. FakeHub does it and I'm sure a few others as well. The worst one is whichever network DrDaddyPOV is part of, I signed up to it recently, they FORCE you to sign up to 2 other sites and you have to cancel them. It's a joke. [Link]

Thankfully, the card that my previous Brazzers sub was billed through is no longer active, so even if I were to screw up on log-on it wouldn't matter. Doesn't make that shady tactic any more palatable, of course. [Link]
