Awards are all politics, the people have to let go of our need to be recognized by ANY institution. I realized it when Jamie Foxx said Oprah told him you have to campaign for an award when he won the Oscar for that film 'Ray.' I'm sure it adds negotiating power for money/front covers/etc to be able to say 'AVN Award winner so-and-so' next to your name, so it actually makes sense. Learn to play the game and don't just look for the recognition because it's not real. Their TRUE fans are the only opinions they should care about.
