Linda Roberts, who's in her 40's, was floored to see she made it into the nominations for best actress for the AVN awards 2007. She asked me if any female performers over 40 had been nominated for best actress before. My first response was golly, sure, had to have, right? Well, the AVN Awards site lists only winners, and going back to 1990, the closest I find is Ginger Lynn (and I'm not sure if she was over 40 when she won her trophy in 2002). Granted, this doesn't cover nominations. Personally, I'm thinking Nina Hartley, Sharon Mitchell, Sharon Kane and Gloria Leonard had to have been nominated at least once in their 40's. However, I have no proof and can't say this for certain :) Can anyone tell me if any adult performers were nominated for best actress in their 40's? Thank you very much for your time and help.
