I just ordered from DiVaDee for the first time last week to take advantage of the $5 off each title special they had, and received the order within three days. Granted, on a good day, it's only a 45-minute drive from my house to Irvine, but the shipping time is incredible.
Still, without the free shipping and $5 discount per title, there's no way I would have bought as many discs as I did. I suppose that's because of two reasons:
1. Thanks to DVDTalk, I'm used to paying close to $10 for any given DVD. With the specials, adult DVDs are averaging $17-18 each. I suppose one could argue that sex inherently costs more, but:
2. I'm used to paying less than $10-12 for a VHS tape, even a new release, from the dozens of businesses selling their wares on eBay. If the tape is previously viewed, it's more like $5-6. So I don't buy the argument that adult DVDs need to be priced using the Fox DVD price model.
3. I can rent tapes and DVDs from my local adult shop at $2 each for 2 days. That's a lot cheaper than buying, especially since I really only like 1 out of 4 features I see.
But, anyway, I would recommend DiVaDee if you don't have a preference--I've heard of a lot of positive experiences with them to match my own.

I did order a couple of DVDs from DivaDee tonight, one with the $5 off link, and one from Steph's link.
I ordered from DivaDee mainly because the DVD Express link wasn't working at the time (7p.m. CST), but I see it is working now. Maybe my internet connection went crazy for a little while. Or maybe they have V-chips in computers now. :-)[Link] |

On Tuesday, I ordered a bundled trio of titles from DVD Explorer, thru the links on the bargain page here. They arrived Friday afternoon, well-packed and in great shape! Reviews to follow soon...
(Price was great, too, saved almost $35... But don't get me started on the cost of gay titles; you guys have it made... )[Link] |
