There is only one answer: EROS BODYGLIDE

Latex safe

Long lasting

Never becomes sticky

Nonstaining

After you fuck, it simply disappears while you sleep

And just for you, it's waterproof

EROS BODYGLIDE

Just note that Eros Bodyglide is not safe for use with silicone toys, since it could potentially damage the finish. I don't have it in my toy box for that very reason, since my best-loved dildo (the Jonah model from Vixen Creations) is silicone. When I'm in a haze of self-pleasuring, I don't want to have to worry about reaching for the wrong bottle.

The only lube I'm using right now is Maximus. After shopping around, I really believe it's the best choice for me. The ingredient list is short and unlikely to cause allergic reactions. There's no glycerin, so I don't have to worry about provoking a yeast infection if I use Maximus vaginally. It has a wonderful gelatinous texture for very slippery and long-lasting anal play. When you squeeze a dollop onto a toy, it stays right there until you spread it around with your finger. Cleans up easily with soap and water. It has a neutral odor and a mostly inoffensive taste.

If for any reason EROS BODYGLIDE is inappropriate, MAXIMUS or LIQUID SILK are the only possible alternatives. All other lubes are crap.

Hmm me an my g/f rather enjoy LoveJam's "Spring Water Lube", we find it rather long lasting, no taste and leaves no residue after use. Don't know if its recommended fr anal use, but we use it for that and it works fine.

u can check it out here

Not sure if you are talking safe, but my girl and I have tried a great many lube, and we now use Vasaline. It's the cheapest, the longest lasting, and the most consistant. We tried eros, and it's ultra slick, but it's not long lasting. If Eros is 100% it drops to 85% in a hurry and fades off. Vasaline is about 95% and never drops below 90%

Vasoline is great for lubrication and the price is right! But clean up is a bitch. It also eats condoms, though this is not a problem for us. But the clean up is. If we had to work a vasoline caliber clean up into our routine, I'd never get my ass fucked.

We normally use Probe. It's a little stringy, but works well.

Always keep your silicone lubricants away from any remote controls with rubber buttons. I happened to have a silicone lube container leak into a bag with my dvd remote inside and (the process probably took a week or so) the buttons swelled up so large that they could no longer be pressed through the plastic casing not to mention the fact that two of the buttons actually expanded so much they pulled themselves off (not sexually you understand)!!

As to lubes themselves this has been asked quite a few times before.

I personally find silicone lubes a little too thin and vaseline or similar rather too viscous. I once created a water bath (remember your old science lessons!) and melted two parts vaseline and one part baby oil together and created a marvellous hybrid which worked well.

My personal belief is that the best solution is to rely on a two part approach. An initial smear of a more viscous lubricant such as vaseline - only a little, just enough to coat all working surfaces - should be followed up by the more liberal application of a more slippery lube such as a silicone based product. I feel that the silicone lube is now working between two greased surfaces which negates my usual complaint when used alone that it is insufficiently thick to lubricate fully (especially as things start to warm up). In fluid dynamics terms the more viscous lube is providing a much larger boundary layer than would otherwise be present, whilst we are also afforded the lower friction that would not be present were we to dispense with the less viscous lube.

Fortunately I have commissioned a team of highly skilled graphic artists to demonstrate this visually:

Would this further be enhanced by using a water-based product, such as Bodywise Liquid Silk as your less viscous component?

Yes, I suppose it would, it would certainly preclude any mixing by using alternately covalent and polar lubes (which I presume was the basis of your suggestion).

Good point indeed.

A girlfriend who had some safe orgy experiences turned me on to almond oil. Nice smell and taste. Wondering why no one has mentioned natural oils. Are they dangerous?

Percy, natrual oils are fine for anal use. They're NOT safe for vaginal use, however, and they destroy latex barriers (condoms, dams and gloves).
