Chris Streams does some great work, primarily for 3rd Degree films. For a particularly great example of his work, check out Crack Addict #2

Tim von Swine is also putting out some good stuff directing for Red Light District. Cum Glazed is a great series.

Rocco Shifredi, Christoff Clark (although he is not going veru well lately)and John Leslie, are very good directors too.

Dont forget Seymoore butts, Jim Powers and Skeeter Kerkkove. They have also brought some nasty videos in the market.

But I dont think it is fair to evaluate an adult director only by a certain type of adult film.

If you want a more artistic approach you can check Michael Ninn or Antonio Adamo. Frank Thring and Tanya Hyde have also made some kinky fimls. On the other hand Chico Wang has adopted a very special amusing style of directing.

Amongst them a number of "Feature" film directors who have chosen a more soft approach.

There are also many many others directors at both sides of the Atlantic who have delivered some quite pleasurable scenes. As a reviewer I will try to write a few things about them for you to meet them.

All of the directors you have mention above are very good thank you for remind me some.

However I ll add some names that very few of you know...
Mario Salieri, Fred Coppula, Steve Morelli, Narciss Bosch, Max Cortes and Herve Bodilis. These are from Europe and each one has his own executive technique to direct an adult flick.

Jewel de Nyle, Kylie Ireland and Jill Kelly are some good examples of axe female performers who made the big step and hold the cameras with much success.

I've been shooting for every Justin Slayer production since its inception a few years ago.

But I definitely appreciate the props..although I think they should go to Justin...he taught me everything I know about shooting and continues to express his vision for each and every scene we shoot.

We do the best we can, with what we got.

Except I would say Michael Stefano and Jonni Darko are pretty mediocre. Stefano lacks a distinguished style, and David Luger's stuff is hopelessly predictable.

Kylie Ireland would get my vote ahead of Jewel.

I want to like Joey Silvera stuff, but his perversions don't catch me the way Christoph Clark at his best can do.

Wits and originality are important too.

The major name missing from the list is probably Jay Sin - the Sineplex/Sinsational titles with his name to them are usually streets ahead of the other releases.

Also, nobody competes with TT Boy and his Orgy World titles - they're all worth checking out.

John Leslie - one of the most artistic eyes to ever direct a porn movie. Dog Walker has remained in my constant rotation for YEARS!

Gregory Dark - I always liked his eye for nasty porn. New Wave Hookers has stood the test of time.

Tom Byron - I really enjoyed his Cumback Pussy series. He always seemed to get some fantastic scenes out of the girls he worked with.

Skeeter Kerkove:
Can do extreme gonzo and couples-oriented films. Seems like the type of director to whom female talent would want to give their best performances. Collision Course was incredible. Vivid should have assassinated all their other directors and kidnapped Kerkove's family to keep him directing for them.

Thomas Zupko:
I caught his Extreme Associates stuff when I first started getting heavily into porn. It was ground-breaking porn. It really stood out. Here is a guy who has the nerve to say he can't shoot girl-girl very well, but yet the Avy Scott lesbian scene in Obssessions of Avy Scott was probably the best scene I've ever seen her in.
