So to say someone is Latino and therefore not Black isn't necessarily accurate. You can be Latino and Spanish-speaking, but your roots are likely a combination of those three "races" I mentioned above. Some Latinos will have more European in their blood, some more African, some more Amerindian. So you CAN be black AND Latino.
