They are putting out movies that are similar in style to Anabolic/Diabolic. But they are following the Evil Angel formula of allowing the directors to own their own titles and doing a distribution deal for them. With this formula, I could easily see some other up & coming directors moving over to RLD in search of a payday that comes with directing a successful series or two. If Ana/Diabolic doesn't consider giving the rest of their directors a similar deal or else there may be more defectors. [Link] |

Ana/Diabolic has a good thing, maybe not a great thing, but it is working. RLD came out strong at the gate, mainly due to simultaneous DVD releases. But Anabolic has a very large back catalog, not easy to catch up on and still release new titles. I like both Ana/Diabolic (Diabolic more) and Red Light District, they are similar, but very different, and all of the titles from both studios are geared towards my tastes... no nonsense, straight to the fucking, porn. I have seen a good amount of both studios and while I can't say I'm an expert, I do know what I like, and these are what I like. Now we just need Lex on ADT and hear his comments, or hear about all the pipe he's laid. ---BIGmike, over and out!--- [Link] |
