OK, I hope someone can help with a recommendation.

I was all set to join Hitflix because of their huge selection of classic adult titles combined with the fact that they had mainstream titles as well.

But I read a few bad reviews of them on this forum and decided to email my concerns directly. Well not only did they not address my concerns they all but encouraged me NOT to join.

Unbelievable!

If I ran my business like that I'd be out of business.

I was merely looking for some basic assurances that I would get DVDs in a timely fashion and if I chose to cancel would not be forced to deal with additional charges.

So I'm still looking for a online DVD rental site. But mostly looking for classic titles form the 80s more than current titles. I'd prefer if they had mainstream titles as well.

I'd jump on BushDVD in a second if they had a better classic selection.

Any recommendations?

How did they encourage you not to join? You should send them a thank you letter for that by the way because you wouldn't have enjoyed it. They don't have all of the titles that they say they do.

I haven't used them for rentals only purchases, but X-rent seems to have a good classic selection.

I asked 3 simple questions and they never answered them and just gave me the same condecending reply over and over.

Looks like an auto-responder to me. I bet they look for certain keywords like "concerns".

Are you sure the webmaster email address is their customer service contact?

Just an update.

So far I have had pretty good luck with GreenCine.

Decent adult selection, including classics, along with regular movies and hard to find stuff.

So far I'd recommend it.
