My favorite soundtracks are from John Leslie (who in his 1990's features were original Blues and Jazz compositions) who I am partial with since Blues and Jazz are two of my favorite genres of music (Leslie even recorded a live set at a San Francisco club! Sang and played the harp!). Close second are John Stagliano's in his 1990's Buttman movies and more recently in the overall well produced Buda. Bodyslamin' also had an excellent rock soundtrack. Can anyone mention any others where they enhanced the mood or scenes in an adult film? Collect, trade videos/dvds from ASIA, EUROPE, USA. Transfer to PAL, SECAM, NTSC & ship anywhere. Vampyros Lesbos is not so much porn, but the soundtrack CD is actually better than the movie... [Link]

The aforementioned Plugz' work in NWH1, the work of Johnny "Call Me Antonio" Jump-Up in Deep Inside Vanessa Del Rio and Black throat and Lemme Tell Ya About... John Leslie also had some great blues band (which I assume he was fronting) doing some soundtrack work for him when he was with VCA. Haven't seen much of his more recent stuff, so dunno if he kept it up... I also liked the music in Ninn's Cashmere which I found very evocative, unlike most of his/Dino's prior stuff which I found droning and not that interesting. [Link]

gogo Member 80 Posts 11/99	Posted - Dec 16 2001 : 10:08PM The films Party Doll a Go-Go 1 & 2 not only had a good trippy surf-like soundtrack (with a modern twist) of its own, by a band called Double Vision, but it also inspired some other band to make a song about the film. I forget the name of this other band but I think they named the song Party Doll a Go-Go and it was full of samples from the videos. [Link]

If a band actually released a modified tune heard in a porn film that was old (and it sold, otherwise no one would complain), maybe even belonging to a company already out of business, could the company do anything about this or would they? Click to expand Yes. If you see a copyright on a movie, that means that all visual AND audio images are covered under the copyright. If a band did want to do a takeoff of something they heard in a porn video, my advice would be to contact the porn company and/or director (usually the address for the Custodian of Records, and then attn: (the director)) and let them know, and ask them if they would mind. My guess is they would say no. However, some director's like John Leslie actually have music as another business for themselves. You will notice on Leslie's DVDs that there's an ad for his Blues Band CD. So in his case, the music is doubly copyrighted, and in a case like that, he may object to a rip-off, unless credit was given to him for the sample. [Link]

In the case of companies out of business like Essex, Diverse Industries, LA Video and other companies (not including the one "shot wonders" or "fly by night" ones) from the 1970's and 80's where the company went out of business or bankrupt, who is legally entitled to respond to copyright infringement (maybe only copyright lawyers can answer this)? Collect, trade videos/dvds from ASIA, EUROPE, USA. Transfer to PAL, SECAM, NTSC & ship anywhere. Can email list by request. [Link]

Click to expand Just because a company is out of business doesn't mean its assets have vanished. Usually, these comapnies were bought by other companies who discontinued the name, but own all the IP (intellectual property) stemming from that company. So you'd have to find out who still holds the copyright and take it from there. [Link]

Check out Watchers and Pretty Girls kick ass soundtrack by main stream bands and shot very well too. Duke D. says,Spruce and Jagermeister Rule!! [Link]
