I tried really hard to search the forum before asking this question. I am looking for your favorite STORY ever and why. The best movie regardless of cast, director, sex scenes or acts. I have really been enjoying some features lately and I want to know what films I might be missing. Obviously there are classic films out there that were good for numerous reasons but few where if you took the sex out (and why would you then it wouldn't be porn)could stand on there own. Three come to mind: "Brandy and Alexander" (1991) starring Jeanna Fine and Jon Dough, about two singles who accidentally receive each other's dry cleaning and spend the bulk of the movie just missing each other. "Things Change: My First Time" / "Things Change: Letting Go" (1993) starring Nikki Dial as a woman who falls into and then out of a lesbian relationship with Deidre Holland. "The Masseuse" (1990) starring Hyapatia Lee and Randy Spears about an introvert who falls in love with a massage parlor worker -- much better than the Jenna Jameson remake from 2003. Interestingly, Paul Thomas directed two of them and wrote the third.
This was really tough. Not something I'd ever really thought about, especially from strictly a story standpoint. I'm probably more of an 80's guy, but I've enjoyed films from all eras. Anyway, I made a pretty big list, then started dwindling them down. MattBlueard gave three, and that seems like a good enough number to me. #3= Little Miss Innocence Has just a three person cast. Two young girls pick up an older guy, have plenty of sex with him in one day, then refuse to leave the next morning and thereafter. Based on another film I heard. A seemingly great thing, that eventually turns into a nightmare. I thought the three actors played off each other well and thought it was perfectly cast. #2= New Devil In Miss Jones I'm probably the only person that prefers this or any version to the original. The story was similar to the others I guess, but there was just something about this version that I really love. Not sure I can explain it, but ultimately think Savanna Samson's performer was brilliant. I'm starting to think I like porn with darker tones to them. #1= 3 AM I think by far the best adult feature I've ever seen. Had very little actual sex in it. Came across as an independent film the first time I saw it. Georgina Spelvin and company kept my attention the entire film. Not the happiest of films mind you, but one of the more interesting films I've ever seen, and I'm talking mainstream too. Film has a very interesting look to it too. I guessing pretty low budget, but somehow it worked for me and the film.

Nice thread and a unique one at that. I am big on the classics, been viewing porn since I was in my teens in high school dating back to 1981. Two films come to mind. 800 Fantasy Lane (1979) is extraordinary. It is a fantasy film as the title indicates and very bizarre. Two simplistic guys pose as real estate agents and are complete frauds. They are only after the girls. Jamie Gillis is highlighted and it is comical. The sex is unusual and good while the cast of girls is up there with the best. Just note, several studios carry this film, only one gives a crystal clear digitally remastered picture in stereo, it is NuTech Digital. Do not attempt to see this title released by VCX or any other studio. NuTech Digital put out a virtually flawless release, it may be hard to run down but don’t go with anyone else. [ invalid url ]
I love 3 A.M and really like THE NEW DEVIL IN MISS JONES. PT was the best XXX filmmaker of the 90s and 2000s. Little Miss Innocence sounds like it's based on a 70s pseudo-horror feature titled DEATH GAME (IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075921/combined ).
I think you may be right about the Little Miss Innocence re-make. In truth, P.T. films came up often when I started looking back. He can be hit or miss, but when's on, he's on. Could have easily added the already mentioned The Masseuse on there, but always felt that film ended too soon. I'm not really good at separating sex from story, since I believe they're intertwined, so it was very interesting for me to say the least.

PT isn't much into sex, sorta lke his acting days. Great for eating Jujubes and giggling. For actual story and heat, check out Story of Joanna with Jamie Gillis. Or Barbara Broadcast. Or any Jamie storyline vid.
The Devil and Miss Jones is definately at the top of the list.I think because Georgin Spelvin gave such a great performance as Justine Jones plus, she was the first MILF cause she was 37 years old at the time she made it.Next would be Behind THE Green Door,Sex World,Pretty Peaches,Cafe Flesh.

First movie that came to mind, so that tells you something since three of us have picked it. I'd also say Nothing to Hide and The Taking of Christina (which would be a great exploitation thriller even with the sex removed).
Upon Black Six's recommendation, I finally viewed 3AM and agree with what's been written here about the film. I loved the down-beat finale and what was accomplished on a shoe-string budget. However, in terms of content, I tend to lump it in with releases that carry that "unrated" moniker like THE BROWN BUNNY or even major releases like Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN or DAMAGE. In other words, my little brain puts it in a different category, that's all. Should "unrated" films also be included in the conversation?
Have to agree with Babyface... Possibly the best feature ever made. One of the rare porns that actually make me laugh... Like Lynn Malone saying "She's going to cut his cock off!" or Dan wrapped in Saran wrap, bouncing around... pure genius. Otis Sistrunk as the Badass cop. That great threesome with Amber Hunt and Linda Wong. Terrific acting, editing, camerwork, music, everything. Awesome all the way through! Even if it was just a rework of "Double Indemnity", I agree Eruption is pretty good... maybe a bit short on female talent... But Damn Leslie Bovee is smokin', and that close up on the beach is out of this world. My addition to this great list would be "The Budding of Brie". Big budget pornification of "A Star is Born", great performers, Hillary Summers as a natural brunette instead of that ghastly bleach blond and the inimitable Kandi Barbour "Fun, fun, fun... I have three different copies of Baby Face. 1. A VHS tape that I had purchased from VCA Pictures in the early 90's when they were putting their titles on sale in small boxes I purchased it along with Pretty Peaches.This was in the early 90's shortly afterwords both titles were pulled from the shelves. 2. Alpha Blue Archives their Cult Directors Set Alex DeRenzy Volume 2 Baby Face & Little Sisters. 3. Alpha France ( Blue One ) Alex De Renzy 4 films 2 DVD's. Baby Face 1 & 2 Pretty Peaches 1 & 2 I'm in agreement with you mallo-cup when it comes to Baby Face I wouldn't have purchased all of these different copies of this Alex De Renzy (R.I.P.)Classic if I felt otherwise. Now here's my observation my VHS copy is the only version that has Sandy Pinney whipping one shot wonder stud Dan Roberts in the back with a whip. The Alpha France Version: I notice they change the musical score around a little bit and I do believe they are the only ones that have the full scene between "The Nutcracker Priscilla's (Lyn Cuddles Malone)" mom and Dan in tact. October Silk a much underrated Classic from 1979 Produced by Cecil Howard and directed by Henri Pachard (R.I.P.) it did receive Best Film Of The Year from Hustler Magazine and was voted upon their loyal fans and readers of the fine Larry Flynt Publication Hustler Magazine.October Silk is part of Cecil Howard's Command library. Here's some of my suggestions. Anthony Spinelli's(R.I.P.) 1980 Talk Dirty To Me. Carter Stevens 1976 Jailbait - Wade Nichols and Sharon Mitchell's great acting added to what a great story this truly was.It wouldn't stand a chance in hell of being made by today's standards. Gary Garver's (R.I.P.) 1979 Ecstasy Girls as well as his 1983 Suzie Superstar. Alex De Renzy's (R.I.P.) 1976 Femmes De Sade comes to mind as well. Cecil Howard my all time favorite director a couple of his films come to mind his 1980 Platinum Paradise as well as his 1984 masterpiece and arguably his best film well it's my favorite anyway of his 1984 Firestorm.
Maybe I'm missing something, but I turned this film off partly because of the lack of attention to narrative. Aside from random women in prison fucking, I didn't catch onto any story at all. Now that you've listed it under Amanda by Night (a major contender for this thread), I wonder if I turned it off too soon -- what is the story?

I haven't seen enough films that had plots to really say, but I really liked The Chameleon with Tori Wells (Jon Leslie produced). It wasn't a brilliant film but the premise was pretty cool..about shapeshifters that were married to each other. Tori was of course the nympho and she would change into different people she saw. My choice as well. I remember watching this in college with some friends and fast forwarding during the sex scenes near the end because we were so intrigued by the plot.

I don't know how a second chameleons movie could be better without Tori in it. That plot must have been awesome. Now I'll have to rewatch them both to find out. I vaguely remember there was more of a controlling thing going on in the 2nd, so that might have been hot for some. Better movie: 2 Better sex: 1.
That would be my take on the two Chameleon films Monkey Power. All-around I do think the first one had better sex. Sweaty sex at that. I think Leslie had found more his true style by the second film though, and think it was better technically. Just looked better in my opinion. And while the first one did have the great Tori Welles, the second and equally great Ashlyn Gere and Deidra Holland. The constast between Ashlyn an Deidra was brilliant IMO. I love constasts in many forms. I do think the 2nd one had a better story too. I do think it was one of Rocco's better early performances too.
