| Goonerallday2025 Member 16 Posts 1/26 | Crossing the 4TB mark and have to back it up so that's 8TB. I have a 4TB SanDisk portable SSD and two 2TB portable SSD (one SanDisk and one Samsung). If I plan to at least triple my collection I need roughly 24TB total. Portable SSD's are so expensive. A 4TB SanDisk (which is a great option, super fast) costs roughly $400. It's too expensive to do all portable SSDs. What are some great options that you all use? Thinking maybe a 12 or 16 TB external hard drive HDD. But I think it will only serve as backup because it is likely slower in transfer and playback speeds than my portable SSDs. Can anyone share their thoughts on best practices and best products? Much appreciated! [Link] |
