Writing has come a long way from the "golden era" (70's, 80's XXX)..they ARE trying to do better. But what remains are ideas that make no sense (to me).

What makes a good mainstream film worth watching (or one of) is showing vulnerability of the characters. It was IMHO part of what made the original Magnum PI character personable. Worth watching. Original. In a time where all the male leads were "1 man against armies invincible types". They should do the same in XXX TODAY.

By that I mean instead of giving in so quick show some resistance. If we take the FTV Girls videos...some known XXX chics some new...they're too willing to get naked in public. Knowing that area where they filmed had no traffic before hand. Why not make them "act" like they were actually afraid to get caught?? How are we to know if that area wasn't only quiet for those 2 minutes? They could have pre-recorded sounds of people in the area...had friends make sounds in the background....etc. Have the XXX chic act like she saw some one and quickly pull her panties back on.

Or when filming "step-sis" type videos...have the chic act against the idea at first. Have the bro try 2 or 3 times first...no luck...change the dialogue (e.g. no experienced XXX chick talk..). In general...plots today...the female characters are still just too willing to give in. Have some lead lead up. Some tease. Get the audience eager for the action..
