This is my first adult dvd talk post and i wish it was of a better topic. It was recommended by the webmaster that I do not slander any specific company, so I will write this as ambiguously as possible. If you are interested in the companies, let me know and I'll gladly post it.

I signed up for $18.95 to a website to view their original mpegs. I was satisfied with what I paid for until one day I purchased a "new dvd release" from a different on-line store produced by an entirely different company with an entirely different movie title.

I was outraged to see the same scenes on the tape that I saw on the internet months ago. Basically I paid twice for the same movie and I'm pissed-off.

Is there anything I can do about it?

If you think you have it bad consider our poor European friends who must cope with the same movie being released by any number of studios in different countries under different titles! It's not illegal, nor intentionally devious. It's just who has distribution rights and what title they think will move it in their market.

Is there anything you can do? YES. Participate in this forum. We have any number of experts on various aspects of porn that can help you identify films and tell whether they are new or retreads.

It could also be that the MPEGs are illegally stolen from the VHS or DVD versions of another movie and offered as "originals" by the website.

Yeah, looks like a pirate site to me too...maybe you could get a refund by threating to report them to the studio whose content they are stealing!

Looks like a pirate deal to me.

Besides, "High Quality, Large Screen (at least 320 by 240) doesn't sound that good next to my 36" TV screen hooked to my DVD player.
