A note to Microsoft: F--- you. I won't install Bing. I will never install Bing. I don't care how many times you nag me or how often it shows up on my Update list. It goes with all those free AOL discs I used to get.
To everyone else: does anyone use and LIKE Bing? I'm stuck with it at work (my IT dept is run by dumbasses). I've yet to meet anyone who likes the damn thing.

Amen. An automatic "hide update" for me whenever it periodically appears on my list.

I've been doing that, but it seems to come back every time there are other updates. I don't know if MS is simply having it reset or if they fake it out by making a "new" update every time.
I'm fed up. My next system is going to have something--anything--not made by Microsoft as an O/S.

Odd. I check for updates every day and get it once every week or two. Sometimes I'll go months without it listed, if I'm lucky. Though I rarely install anything by mistake, I don't believe I've had it listed yet on a Patch Tuesday and it's always listed under "optional updates" and is always un-checked by default.
It is annoying, however, to have to deal with spam from Microsoft of all people.
