See the trailer HERE. This looks great. I'm very old fashioned, but I love the mix of sex & violence. Too many years of late night erotic thrillers will do that to you. There's also a trailer for another movie called "Dolores of my Heart", which looks just as good, but I'm not enthused about Chris Cannon in the main role (he can act, he's just not much of a turn-on).
I see Paris, I see France, I can see your underpants
Thanks for bringing that film to my attention I'd never heard of it before but it looks interesting, I'll have to pick it up next month when I have some extra $$
Also, I've seen it...and it's pretty darn good - assuming you don't have a problem with "natural sex" (as opposed to the "sport fucking" we get in most porno).
This looks like an awesome movie. Since I like erotic thrillers, it looks like this would be a good choice. It's obvious the plot is what drives this movie, not the sex, but that's a good thing. And even though I haven't seen it yet, I can already picture this movie as a midnight feature. I would like to see that happen.
Myload, based on what I know about what you like I think this would be a perfect film for you to check out. It's got a great mix of story and sex. And the sex scenes, in positions and lighting, is far more natural looking than one ususally finds in an adult film.
Going by the trailer, it definitely looks like a movie that I would like. Movies like this is what the genre needs. In my opinion feature porn shouldn't even look or feel like porn. The sex shouldn't the most important thing. That's what gonzo movies are for.
My past is a foreign country. Most things are different there, including word usage. 503 Posts 12/06

If I hadn't read Flash's review, I would never considered ordering that title. "Black Worm!" If you haven't read his review, I recommend it. BTW, what does '...a time code encoded on the disc' mean?
That remains from when I first started writing reviews although most these days do have them. It allows you to be able to pick a time in the film and go to it using your DVD player. It also allows you to see how far in the film you are, how much is remaining. Many discs when I started DIDN'T contain them (Caballero, Heatwave, VCX and others). It has always mattered to me if they are there so I mention it in the reviews.
It means your time counter on your DVD player will show the time, non encoded discs will usually show something akin to: --:--:-- when the DVD hasn't been time encoded.
I'm going to give my review one last read-through in the morning when I might be a little more awake and before turning it in. There were a few little things that didn't work for me (the extra low lighting in the final sex scene being the biggest problem), but overall this is the best adult feature I've seen this year.Gotta disagree there. To me, the sex and the story are just as important in feature porn and to be really good should be play towards each other. Cut out the plot and the sex loses something, cut out the sex and the story loses something. It's just like going to an action movie. The chase scenes, gunfights, whatever are important, but in a great action movie so's the setups and story. Yes, one part can be a little weaker, but you shouldn't have to turn off your brain during one part or another. Heck, in any great movie the genre doesn't matter because it all has to work together to make it a great movie. What's a signature???
Yeah, the sex should help tell the story, but the plot has to be the most important factor in a feature film. Those kind of porno movies shouldn't be about getting aroused, but about plain old movie watching. "The Fashionistas" took porn away from being so-called jackoff material, and it looks like "Black Worm" does the same. These are the kind of movies I want to see.
I just ordered this movie, and I will tell you what I think of it after I see it. I also plan to write a review of the movie, so be sure to keep your eye out for it.

I'm dying to see this show. I've heard nothing but excellent things about it. I don't get to vote in the AVN Awards anymore, but I am allowed to borrow a batch of screeners so I can see what people did during the year. It sounds like the people at Pulpo turned out a really excellent film.
My copy arrived today, but I have to be honest with all of you: I don't when I'll get to watch it, let alone review it. But just be patient, because it will happen.

Wow, what a great show this is. The people at Pulpo should be very proud of this movie. They've done a great job and created a very solid, well-made film with story and sex. Excellent work.
I finally saw this movie, and I love it. "Black Worm" is a gritty look at the drug underworld. Those drug dealers don't fuck around. The plot is what drives this film, not the sex. Fans of crime thrillers and Quentin Tarantino's films will like it. Anyone who is just looking to get turned on should look elsewhere. Pulpo should definitely get this movie shown in movie theatres as a midnight feature . I think this movie could be a cult classic.
I have a question about the scene with Carla's nightmare. I take it that it represents her feeling like she's in hell. Is this how anyone else interprets the scene?
I saw this movie for the second time last Friday at it was even more enjoyable. I noticed even more how good the writing is. I also noticed something in the film that I didn't the first time, which was the real reason why Carla wanted to get revenge on Capo. For those who still haven't seen "Black Worm", you should definitely check it out.
Yes, it's a great movie. It's very impressive, very tarantionesque. Don't miss it see my review, with pics: http://pornogafapasta.blogspot.com/2008/09/black-worm-andrs-tabogo-2007.html
It looks like Pulpo, the studio that released this movie, has disappeared. Their website is gone, and besides it was probably too hard for them to make a decent followup to this awesome movie. Their approach to feature porn probably made it difficult for them to get off the ground. It's too bad, as they looked like a promising studio.
I know about "Dolores", but I have read hardly anything about it. The review at Adult DVD Empire is the first one I've read of the movie. Pulpo didn't do enough promotion for this movie. It was obvious they weren't going to release as many movies as most porn studios, but they didn't do enough with what they had. If anyone has any new information on the studio please tell me. 7337
