I don't think that scenes being "hit-or-miss" is a uniquely newbie problem, and I like or love the overwhelming majority of Blacked scenes. However, I'd be very happy to see AJ in a scene and the return of Jada and especially Keisha.

I couldn't disagree with you more. That scene was a HUGE disappointment for me, and you're talking to someone whose favorite pornstar just so happens to be AJ Applegate. I hated that it wasn't done like the typical Tushy scene, instead, they had AJ play this overly submissive role. It just didn't work for me, from the tame and slow sex to the corny one-liners they had AJ say. As far as I'm concerned, Lansky botched what should've been a PERFECT 10 scene and I hope he brings AJ back for another scene on Blacked/Vixen/Tushy to "make up" for the disappointment that was this scene. ^^There are perpetual catfights between members in this forum, as well as regular cheap shots taken at the talents, and you reprimand that guy? Laughable.
I think the risk increases with unknown girls. It's like going to a restaurant, some people like to try the brand new dishes, some time it's a home run, other times it's back home with the runs. Other people prefer the chicken strips and french fries. You know what to expect, cant really screw it up, but different twists here and there set recipes and accompanying sauces on different levels. I know I wont go home dissatisfied buying a plate of professionally cooked chicken strips and french fries. All these guys may like the 18 and 19 year olds but I prefer the Jada's, AJ's, Keisha's, Valentina's, Anissa's, Avluv's, Phoenix's - there really is no "miss" in those types

^^I like those pornstars too, but I've seen every one of them in scenes that I'd consider misses. There's no woman or man in porn that I like so much as to think them incapable of a mediocre scene. I've never heard of or seen the work of many of the newbies prior to Blacked, so I don't have any fan bias in their favor, but they and their costars almost always deliver for me.
It has been a style which Greg Lansky and his brands have been trying out. However, I have been informed that all sites will be reverting back to the normal bright settings they used to be in. Hopefully we will sees these changes in the coming weeks.
^ I was about to say did they just throw out the adultery aspect and show and interracial couple getting married? Then I watched the trailer and realized it was just a photo shoot.
^ and ^^ I am not saying a scenario with a married couple at their wedding would be necessarily uninteresting. But I also don't see why the spontaneous-attraction-leads-to-a-hot-one-day-stand scenario would be more uninteresting than thia ^_^
^ For me, it's more about the fact that it'd be interesting to see them use a scenario they haven't used before instead of one they've use quite a few times already (especially if you take into account all 3 sites).
^ Hoping this is either a B/B/G scene or a four person orgy with Angela, another girl and two of the male talent. Another scene for the next Interracial Orgies DVD release possibly?

^ ^ What if all they did was get together for lunch? As for the gift she received, I'm guessing it was the trademark Blacked bra and panty set. As for this upcoming Sophia Leone scene...I'm so glad to see her on the site, although, I'm not crazy about the heavy black makeup around her eyes or the way her hair is styled. Nonetheless, the scene still looks like it'll be a good one and, most importantly, she does eventually get completely nude in it.
