He makes exceptions when he thinks said exceptions are worth it, and he will continue to do so. ^^ Cowgirl is a good position when it's shot from good angles. I'd like to see Lansky experiment more on that front or shoot it like how he shot it in high rated scenes that specifically have exceptional cowgirl action. The good thing about reverse is that it's extremely visual. You get to see the girl's whole front body, including her face, tits, pussy, etc. That's why it's so popular when it comes to porn even though it's not considered the norm IRL. The issue with cowgirl is that you really only primarily get to stare at the girl's ass, so if it's not shot appropriately, then you're left with not much else. Reverse cowgirl is hard to screw up and cowgirl has little room for error, basically.
I enjoyed the current Melissa Moore and Jason Brown matchup. Good stuff! Definitely looking forward to the next scene. I think I'll find a way to enjoy Joseline as a blonde. I'm a big fan of hers.

I totally agree with your first sentence. But I really don't care to watch positions that exist solely for the porno camera. I'd rather watch positions that look like the performers are actually into each other and display passion, which is one of the aspects that Greg originally stated would be a feature of this site. So when he emphasizes a non-passionate position like reverse over a passionate one like cowgirl, it doesn't make much sense to me. I don't care if you have a few minutes of reverse in there, but I hate it if that means cowgirl will be excluded, and he has made that error too many times.

cowgirl at its best is when the camera is shot directly behind the girl from a low vantage angle, BUT the girl has to be squatting, feet flat to the surface reverse cowgirl in the porn world does not translate to the real world, however, I have seen reverse used by amateurs. The two most common variations are: 1. male with his torso flat and the female squatting down so the whole thing isnt going in unexpectedly, can be shot with male fully flat or his legs hanging off a couch or bed, but his torso has to be flat. The female can stand up and not sit on the whole thing 2. this must be shot from behind the male's head, the male's body is fully flat and the female can basically cradle on top of him. The selling point is to just watch her butt in motion(based on Blacked's track record, it's no wonder these positions are barely used) as for the latest scene, yay it's a threesome, now keep going and shoot one that is a legit cant miss scene. And I see I'm not the only one bugged about Joesline Kelly's new hair, and I'm not even a real fan of hers but she doesnt even resemble the same person anymore

I couldn't disagree with you more. I believe liking cowgirl or reverse cowgirl is subjective. So is whether there can be passion or not with either. Clearly Greg doesn't agree with you, though, since BLACKED launched with reverse cowgirl in some of the scenes and still continues to have it to this day (the preview for the next scene featuring Joseline Kelly and Lily Rader has reverse cowgirl, in fact). The thing is, Greg usually rolls with one of the cowgirls and the other gets cut. I wouldn't mind it at all if he used both in more scenes and cut out missionary (which I find more boring than either of those positions). Or made the missionary and doggy shorter for more cowgirl and reverse cowgirl. Or just made longer scenes. I don't know. There's plenty of wiggle room there. It is interesting how you have scenes like Dolly Little that are 50+ minutes long and could easily fit in all of those positions and more, but then you have scenes like Marry Lynn that are 23+ minutes long and more than a few would be too much.
I agree about the directly behind the girl and low vantage point, disagree about the girl squatting. When the girl starts squatting in normal cowgirl, I just fast forward. This is another one of those subjective things. I also disagree with you on reverse cowgirl being shot from behind. That defeats the whole purpose of reverse cowgirl, which is so that you can see the girl's face, tits, pussy, etc. Might as well just shoot regular cowgirl or doggy if you want to showcase the girl's ass. To be fair, I think Lansky has been doing a better job of both recently. Tasha Reign's scene had good doggy camera angles and Melissa Moore's had good cowgirl camera angles.
^^ It's been mentioned couple of times that Greg isn't the only director shooting for his sites and Dolly's scene wasn't shot by him either. Greg focuses on big/important projects with lots of hype around them that will get award nominations while his assisting director Laurent handles mundane shoots with brand new models. Not sure if he has ever mentioned that in his interviews though.
