Low-key glad that Jason is back in the male talent rotation. Felt kind of bad that the fans complaining about him being the main male talent got them to use him way less.
I noticed that Jason removed "Blacked contract star" from his profile and hasn't been featured in quite a while, so yeah, I'm glad he's still in the rotation too...if it is indeed him in this upcoming scene. Joss and Flash are also solid guys that have been M.I.A. that I wish returned more often.

^ That's bad news, as he is a pretty reliable performer. I am now convinced this Davin dude has got to go. He is a major distraction and ruined Hannah's scene. I will be referring to him as [MOD: Insult Removed] from now on. He's a softie and can't properly screw. He also runs his mouth way too much. Can't wait until he is gone. I also get the feeling that Greg has moved on to his other projects and most of these Blacked scenes are now shot by some flunkie. Where did the kissing disappear to? Lack of passion killed the Riley Starr scene, as well. Why was Hannah looking backward during cowgirl? [MOD: Insult Removed] Hannah was cute enough to carry the scene somewhat, but it was a big disappointment to what I was expecting. I keep remembering how great this site was before the other two sites came out. I wish it could get back to that, cuz it seems to be going downhill fast. ^I can't believe it, but I totally agree with all that you said about the current scene and both talents involved. I usually like at least about 90% of Blacked scenes, on some level. When I don't it's usually because of the casting, and this scene with Hannah and Davin, is likely in my bottom 3-5 of Blacked scenes. As performers, neither one seems "ready for primetime." Guys like Flash and Jason Brown look more valuable every day - both for their own abilities and for the chemistry they create with their partners.
we had a temporary ray of hope recently with the Nicole Aniston, Natalia Starr, and Ella Nova scenes but it seems like back to business as usual. I understand people want to see new girls but the current format and lack of direction in the scenes is not doing a lot of these newbies any favors. It is especially frustrating considering the TUSHY/VIXEN slate over the last few months has had Angela White, Kagney Linn Karter, Jada Stevens, Jaye Summers, Jynx Maze, Jessa Rhodes, Quinn Wilde, Keisha Grey, Abella Danger, Jillian Janson, Anya Olsen, Megan Rain, Riley Reid, Adriana Chechik, etc., (many who have been on BLACKED and some who weirdly haven't) who all could of turned out amazing scenes on BLACKED and probably would have brought some life to even the same current format/scenarios. Also doesn't help that the latest VIXEN scene is Bree Daniels/Cadey Mecury who are 2 girls i have been dying to see do IR, and now it looks like Nicole Aniston is doing a showcase for TUSHY so probably takes her off the BLACKED market for awhile. Not worth getting upset about i guess but it's just frustrating, hopefully that Mia Malkova showcase is actually for real because that will shut us all up.

I would caution people not to overreact regarding newer talent. It is very common for newer talent to adapt to the industry in order to find their groove. Lest we forget, some of the names we praise now did too struggle in their early years. Flash Brown was regularly criticized even years after his debut. Now many consider him one of the best. Not every studio shoots the same way. I can imagine it being more challenging to go from a off-the-cuff gonzo environment to a more formal and professional-photography studio style set, with more breaks for still photos and position transitioning and scripted dialogue close-ups, makeup adjustments, etc. Blacked has a meticulous presentation. I'm not claiming to be a fan of Davin either, but he's only had 3 scenes so far and according to the ratings, none of them have been poorly received. The scores have been 8.2, 8.4. and 8.5. That's a good record. If he was really fucking up, it should be reflected in the scene scores. His performer score is a respectable 7.4. Out of 22 male talent listed, he's currently ranked 7th. That puts him in the top 1/3. And again, he's new. Flash was bashed as a weak performer. And so have pretty much all male talent in this highly competitive genre. Do we need to review the litany of criticisms thrown at them again? lol They complain about Julio "too big" Complain about Nat "too small" complain about Ricky "too young" complain about Sean Michaels "too old" complain about Lex "too slow" complain about Jason "too gay" complain about Mandingo "too big" complain about Wesley Pipes "too ghetto" complain about Prince "too loud" complain about Flash "too quiet" complain about Rico Strong "too fat" complain about Rob Piper "not hard enough" complain about Isaiah "not hard enough" complain about Jon Jon "not big enough" Ppl complain about Jack Napier "too big" And the complaints go on. I even saw people complain that Jovan Jordan was not dark enough. lol Then you got others complaining that some brotha is "too dark." WHAT? It's been a minute since I was a member so I can't comment on rookie Davin's scenes. I will say again that from the preview for his latest scene, it did seem like she struggled to take him in, at least orally. Maybe deep oral is a crucial help to get ready for a porno shoot for him. Or maybe behind the scenes it was explained he had to be careful with her? How would we know for certain unless we were on set and privy to performer sensitivity? There are many variables that can affect the outcome of interdependent performances. I'm going to reserve judgment til I can at least evaluate based on the BlackedRaw performances and assess by taking in the averages across both sites. Unless I was mistaken it looked like Davin is featured on at least one BlackedRaw scene, and seemed to deliver the goods, granted it was like a 5 second snippet from a sizzle-reel - so it BETTER had look on point. Rome wasn't built in a day yall. And it never woulda got built at all if they just kept firing folks on a whim. IMO the whole trick as a producer is teaming up talent that can play to their strengths, and with newer performers it takes some testing. If Julio ever gets right and returns, I think they definitely need to try him on Raw. That could be his power alley. If nothing else, even those in the minority who aren't digging the Raw approach should appreciate the fact that it can help accommodate some performers for whom the style of shooting fits better. What this can mean for those critics who don't like performer-Z on Blacked is that we could find out Z is better on Raw, and if they don't like Raw anyway, then they probably won't have to worry about Z anymore since the producers should realize Z fits better on Raw. Meanwhile, for most of us who don't have a issue with Z in the first place, Raw means another opportunity to appreciate them and maybe even more. The bottom line is, more opportunities means broadening your foundation and really getting to hone and nail down the optimal solutions. My only question is has anyone seen the subscription plans for Raw yet? Does anyone know how it will work or what the update schedule is supposed to be like? Weekly?

It all comes down to the personal preference of each individual. I happen to like Davin well enough, although I like other talents more. It's nice that more voting members like his scenes than don't, but I can't say that the numbers influence me in the slightest.
Victoria June....Love it. I love watching a woman with giant tits in reverse cowgirl and even better with my weakness for Latinas. She puts in serious work in her scenes.
The next scene appears to be with Jax, not Jason. In addition to him no longer being under contract with BLACKED, I'm not sure if he's still performing anymore. Interestingly enough, BLACKED still seems to be in profile so maybe he's working behind the camera now.
No more Jason Brown? No more Lowtru. Or Joss Lescaf. They were the best male performers Blacked ever had. Major mistake by Blacked. Oh well I'll withhold my money and see what direction they are headed. The women will always be good. But a dude can fuck up a scene. FACT!
Just watched the Lily Radar scene with Joss Lescaf. He seemed like he was used to be the dominant and aggressive older male lover. Yeah really seems like Greg got rid of Jason and Flash and Joss for the wrong reasons. I mean don't change the formula that much.

Got rid of? IDK if that's correct. I would expect to see more of them in the future. Perhaps not so much of Joss since he is popular in the Euro circuit, but Jason and Flash will still be featured here for sure, maybe just a bit less as they try to rotate in more of the newer talent. Jason and Flash are among the top rated most dependable talent they've ever had which is no doubt appreciated by Lansky and co. Also let's not assume that because Jason and Flash have allowed their contracts to end it doesn't necessarily mean Blacked prefers letting them go. Maybe the guys just want to run the industry circuit again to refresh their exposure. Many performers prefer contracts, but not all of them all the time. Besides, these contracts seem usually quite short. The performers could do some rounds with other brands and still return and negotiate another contract again by next year. Jax might have to be the new Jason if they really aren't going to use him anymore. I agree they got rid of those other two guys way too fast. And definitely agree with your final thought.
"Refresh their exposure"? BLACKED is the big kid on the block. You don't 'refresh' your exposure by "running the industry circuit again" (which neither were known for before BLACKED anyways). Flash, for instance, has had very minimal work outside of BLACKED so far. He pretty much solely appears on Dogfart every now and again. That's a pretty steep drop off from being the main man on BLACKED back in his heyday. Not enough time has passed since Jason left so far, but like Flash, he wasn't ever a 'circuit' man and worked for very few companies as well. Don't get me wrong, I wish those guys got as much work as Isiah, Jax, etc, but they just don't for whatever reason. There's more to getting bookings than just performance, apparently (and unfortunately for us fans).
That scene and the one that Joss did with Lena Paul, showed that you can be a dominant black male without getting into or falling into those idiot stereotypes. Still waiting for Greg to get into some light kink in some of his scenes. Lily worked Joss well and played a believable submissive and obedient little employee who pissed off the boss. Of course her swallowing every drop would've ended that scene perfectly. But they needed to show the pop-shot of course.
1. It wouldn't matter if Blacked was the biggest porn site in the world. They don't account for the majority of porn volume being consumed. Not even close. No brand comes anywhere close to holding a majority of all the porn being consumed. The biggest slice of the pie is probably not even 20% (Brazzers?). That means at least 80% of the porn out there being consumed is produced by scores and scores, maybe a hundred or more other companies/brands/websites. And then to include the rising amateur self-promoted independent market, you have literally hundreds of other channels for consumers, and the brand with the biggest slice of the pie is probably only 10% of all of it. So yeah, is it really any question why it might be in a performer's interest to not ignore the 80-90% of consumers out there? Now, porn brands will always be bigger draws than any individual performer. The biggest pornstars in the world can't really pull in membership numbers that compare with the top brands in porn networks. The most popular pornstars can do quite well for themselves, but at the end of the day, the average porn consumer would sooner subscribe to a network than a individual, even if that individual produces somewhat varied scenes with other performers, such as Lisa Ann did on her site, or PinkyXXX or SaraJay or pretty much all the big names who can draw a crowd. But I digress. The main point is that individual performers (particularly male performers) cannot compete against big brands that produce lots of varied content. But performers still can brand themselves by hitting the circuits and establishing themselves. That's how performers get the biggest following. None of the top performers could achieve their status without appearing on various networks. None of them could have a chance of it if they were contracted to just 1 brand their whole career. As for why it seems Flash has only worked with Dogfart since his contract with Blacked ended, probably because Dogfart was the next highest bidder. Or they actually outbid Blacked for him (which I doubt), but it could easily be a combination of Flash wanting to expand his reach in conjunction with landing a contract that might not have had the same grand bottom line pay, but it may have been a contract with a bit more freedom too, giving him some options he didn't have before. I don't represent him, don't know how savvy he may or may not be, but most people generally have a clue what's in their best interest. But I think we can rest assured Jason and Flash are among the top 10 black male talent out there, and if either of them seems to not be getting as much work anymore then that is by choice. Maybe part of the reason they signed their contracts with Blacked wasn't just the money, but the rate of production was more to their preference. Not everyone out there likes the same schedule. They don't all have the same lifestyle. Isaiah seems to like to do a scene every damn day lol. Maybe Jason and Flash don't.
