Oh, great. Another humiliated husband storyline, with the creepy obsession with wedding rings. Just what Blacked is all about.
The current producers have dragged Blacked into 3rd Degree or Zero Tolerance territory, which is what Blacked originally provided a welcome and popular respite from.
It used to be women independently attracted to black men, not this creepy humiliation fantasy. Instead of interns, groupies, babysitters, personal trainers, sister's boyfriend etc. it's now married woman / humiliated husband, married woman / humiliated husband, married woman / humiliated husband...
In most cases cheating scenarios in the old Blacked simply involved a voiceover of "My husband was away on business... yadda yadda...". Now there's always some white dude lurking in the scene; or on the end of a phone; or receiving a video of his wife fucking a black dude; or fucking his wife while she looks bored and rolls her eyes; along with the obsession with the wedding rings which is a creepy cuckold trope.
Blacked took IR porn mainstream. Normies could talk about Blacked, unlike Dogfart or all the studios producing "Interracial Wife Breeding Cuckold Small White Penis Humiliation 12". You think any normies are gonna want anything to do with the site now that it's been dragged back into the 2008-13 doldrums of cuckold humiliation every second scene?
And if it's not cuckold imagery, it's needlessly elaborate melodrama set in darkness where the girl's waving a gun around, or lesbians are arguing about adultery, or a music diva shouting at her producer... just misery, misery, misery.
The complete opposite of the bright, fun, sexy, relatable fantasies that made this site such a hit originally. What a shame.
^ My favorite scene of the last year or so was the Dana Wolf scene and it had a cuck angle. I think its ok from time to time. The darkness of the lighting though seems to be the biggest problem of late. Its summertime how about they do a pool party scene or something. They could be doing lots of fun bright stuff as you put it.
Ah, I don't mind the cheating angle. If anything, it was almost a bit cringe-y when they went through the phase where the strong independent girls had to practically jump the clueless guys, otherwise no action would have happened. Anyway, it's just story flavour and doesn't affect the scenes. It's not really cuckold material though - that implies that the spouse/SO is accepting of the arrangement, if not participating in it. This is just regular 'what they don't know won't hurt em' cheating.
Not much different from when Blacked started - hell, Jillian Janson's debut (2nd video they put out) had her getting banged during an interview while her boyfriend was outside, having to listen to it. That's way more intense than these current intros.
Agreed SM009 ... the storylines with BLACKED in the early days were outstanding and imaginative./ Now, the same boring storylines over and over again. The European scenes are the most predictable, and the lack of variety in scene storylines is disappointing to say the least. I have been a Blacked subscriber in the past, but cancelled when I got zero response to a scene / series of scenes, suggestion. I am 100% confident the scene(s) would have been extremely well received. If anyone from Blacked sees this post and has any interest in reviewing my submission again, in order to get the site out of dropping popularity, please feel free to contact me.
I'm not sure where the idea came from that Blacked used to have outstanding stories. The earliest videos sometimes had no stories at all, just an intro and chat before the action. Probably their most elaborate stories so far have been their 4-part Obsession series for Kendra Sunderland and Carter Cruise, and both of them were about cheating or cuckolding. I just checked their scene list from their beginning to see how many of them had story elements of cheating/cuckolding/hotwifing:
Any time I raise this issue, someone always comes along and points to a handful of scenes released just after the site launched that featured a voyeur or cuck situation. They quickly moved on from that garbage to where it was practically non-existent for the next 5 years.
Now this creepy niche fetish is present in every other scene.
And yes, it is cuckold garbage because that's who it's aimed at. If there's a white guy lurking in the scene or on the end of a phone or watching his wife on video or being shown failing to satisfy his wife, that is for the gratification of the cuckold audience.
You don't need the partner present in the scene at all to convey a cheating scenario. They managed it successfully for 5 years or so. This is a deliberate shift by the new producers to appeal to the cuckold fetishists and it's driving audience members like me away permanently.
Their decisions have changed this network for the worse in tone, style and appeal, and dragged Blacked in particular back into outdated porn tropes.
But what they're doing now is pretty much what they've been doing for the last 5 years, theme-wise (production and casting is a different story). Not like the partner is present in these scenes either. If texting/calling the SO before the scene is considered participation, they've been doing that off and on for their entire run. And I'm pretty sure the partners used to feature more in the story than they do now. That whole 'send a photo to the spouse' thing hasn't really been used for a while. Last one I can remember was the Avery Cristy and Diggler scene, and there the boyfriend she was getting even with was also a black guy, which is at least atypical for the genre.
^ I wouldn't bother. If, after pointing out with statistics that their point doesn't hold weight, they are still insistent that their point is true, then there will be no real development in the conversation. I must say I'm finding the constant negative comments in the VMG threads depressing. Why are people still members if they hate the content?
They do need to either up their content number or lower the price
(30 day subscriptions) Brazzers update everyday = 24.99 Reality Kings update every day = 24.99 Nubile Films (including their seprate sites) Update often = 30
without sales each site costs Vixen = 29.95 Blacked = 22.95 Tushy = 35.95 Deeper = 22.95 Tushy Raw = 29.95 Blacked Raw = 29.95
Ahh, so it's "pretty much" what they were doing. In other words, they've changed it. The difference, as I've said, has been to shoehorn the husbands into the scene to satisfy the cuckold audience.
No, the partners didn't used to feature more in the story. No, they haven't been doing this off and on the whole time. There are a handful of examples over the course of years where the partner was present in the scene. Aside from that, the majority of cheating scenarios were just "My husband's away..." or "My boyfriend is always too busy...".
Now this regular theme of humiliation, having the partner on the phone or watching on video or being shown failing to satisfy her or lurking at the start of the scene while the scene partners exchange flirty looks, appears in a significant proportion of their content.
And, whaddya know, the cheating scenarios on Vixen and Tushy don't feature that kind of stuff:
Stefany Kyler is seducing a married man in her Tushy scene, but on Blacked she's daydreaming of black men while her boring white husband ignores her. Ariana Van X is a model seducing her scene partner on Vixen, but on Blacked she's a wife exchanging flirty glances with another man while her lame husband lies next to her and she daydreams of making out with the other guy in front of her husband. Avery Cristy is fucking her married coworker on Tushy. On Blacked, she's filming herself fucking another guy to humiliate her cheating boyfriend.
Blacked (and BlackedRaw) have regressed to the lame pre-Blacked tropes of cukoldry and humiliation in IR porn that stained the genre's reputation and made the content so frustratingly inconsistent.
He didn't provide any statistics to disprove what I said. All he did was provide the number of scenes per year that featured a cheating scenario, which I've already said isn't the problem. And I'm not a member of these sites anymore. But I would be, if they would stop sabotaging their content and moving away from the model that made their sites so revolutionary in the first place. Perhaps there wouldn't be so many negative comments were they not so determined to turn Blacked into the sort of inconsistent, low rent content that we used to endure before Blacked came along.
Yeah, they're not going back. Why would they? Why expend more money and effort than necessary if you can keep charging the same and lazy customers don't complain?
The only reason they might go back is if the membership kicked up a fuss and started cancelling. But sadly they're too porn-addicted and lazy to do so. There was one dude on there who used to ask them in the comments every now and then when they were going back to 6 updates, but I don't even see him asking the question anymore.
The announcement that they're not changing back is inevitable, and all the complaints will fall on deaf ears because not enough pressure was applied when they were weighing up the pros and cons of that decision. The consumers just kept handing over their money.
Once they've made that decision, there's no going back. The time to be complaining about the reduced schedule is now; not once they've already made their minds up.
6 sites at 73 updates a year was 438 scenes a year. Moving to 1 update a week reduced that load to 312 scenes a year.
Now that they have 7 sites, remaining at 1 update a week makes a total of 364 scenes per year. To go back to an update every 5 days on all sites would now total 511 scenes per year.
It's pretty obvious they'll choose producing 364 scenes over a massive 511. It's the difference between filming 7 scenes a week or filming 10.
People should have made their voices heard when they had the chance. Now they'll be told that getting less content on the individual sites they want is no big deal because they can sign up to the whole network and still get less content than they would have previously.
What a massive fraud they played on everyone by reducing the number of releases per month and keeping prices same! And now they have new website Slayed.com which is totally lesbian content. Website's promo says "you asked and we delivered" I'm not sure who asked for this (lol) when there are several lesbian porn websites like girlsway etc. are already there

welcome to almost any VMG scene in the last year and a half.
Yes, the statistics did disprove your point. And if you aren't a paying member, then as far as I can see you have no right to be complaining here about recent scenes which you can't have viewed fully the proper way. I have seen no significant difference in the scenes , and watch scenes from different years on a regular basis. I certainly don't agree that Blacked is low rent content.
Edit: To All: I would be very careful about accusing VMG of fraud. Similar comments in the Mike Adriano thread led to thread bans and even deactivations.
^ Not necessarily regarding this instance, but saying "If you're not a member, you have no right to complain" does not apply in all instances. I could complain that I want to spend my money on something specific, and the company which mostly fits that special thing still falls short, then I would say I can complain. "Why does company X that is known for excellent Y only shoot girl Z and not my favorite girl ZZ?" I would say that's a legitimate complain, without having to be a member of site X.
^ I disagree. In that scenario, people should just move on to other sites (if they exist). Besides, consistently complaining about scenes here was what originally annoyed me, and finding out that they aren't a paying member added to it.
The statistics didn't disprove what I said at all. You simply refuse to comprehend my complaint.
But sure, it's completely invalid to criticise a service you became dissatisfied with and suggest improvements that might reignite your interest.
"I ditched my Netflix account." "Oh yeah? How come?" "Well, I didn't like the way they... oops, sorry. I know I'm not allowed to talk negatively about a service I'm no longer paying for." "Of course. Would you ever consider signing back up?" "Hmm... perhaps if they... jeez, what am I thinking? Can't say anything negative or suggest improvements now that I'm no longer paying for a product I became unsatisfied with. Them's the rules."
I've heard this rule is particularly helpful in the consumer research industry. Because businesses only ever care about the customers they already have and are never interested in expanding their reach or gauging the opinions of new or lost customers.
BTW, since you're such a stickler for only paying customers expressing opinions, I'd be curious to know what your username on the VMG sites is and see what you've thought of recent scenes. I'm sure as an active member you will have made some comments recently which would also confirm your status as a paying member. You can DM it to me if you wish.
Ok, let's take 2016 as an example. That's almost 2 years after they started, and presumably in the heyday period that people are fondly remembering.
During that year, 3 separate scenes (Haley Reed, Karina White, Peta Jensen) had the boyfriends/husbands actually catching them in the act. The 2 Kendra Sunderland scenes that year had the boyfriend taking photos, and sitting in to watch the whole thing. 2 other scenes (Amanda Lane, Kylie Page) had the girls getting a text from their partner while they were fucking. The Kylie Page and Lena Paul scenes had them sending photos to their partners, complete with the partners' shocked reaction to said photos. The Mona Wales and Layna Landry scenes had their extramarital sex pre-approved by their husbands; Layna kept talking about how she was going to share details with him, while Mona's husband was watching on the security cams. If anything, that should have been the height of cuckoldry for this site, but somehow, it's recalled as a golden period where none of this shit happened.
We're a month over the halfway point into this year, and besides the occasional hotwifing angle, nothing of the sort has shown up so far, but somehow this is the nadir. I don't know how the Jordan Max scene is going to play out, but it's probably going to be like the Emma Hix scene earlier this year, where they set up the story part early on and then just stick to the action. I'm not expecting her guy to be walking in and doing a double take, or getting a photo of the action like they used to do.
Being disappointed with the production values or casting or general uninspired nature of the scenes is understandable. Not liking cuckold/cheating scenes and wanting them to stick to straight storylines, also understandable. But claiming the site has done a pivot to suddenly capture the cuckold market is a huge stretch, and their history doesn't really support that theory.
P.S - There's a Vixen scene released this year with Emelie Crystal and Eveline Dellai, where both girls are cheating on their men with Alberto Blanco. Eveline is actually supposed to be dating Freddy Gong in that scene, and after showing them cuddling for a bit, she leaves for a bathroom break, and they cut to Emelie catching Eveline blowing her side dude in the bathroom. I don't watch too many Vixen scenes, but just by looking at the descriptions, there's plenty of similar cheating going on there.
The scene output drop I could except easier if they would offer 9.99 for a month prices every now and then like they used to regularly on sales. But they didn't just drop the scene count during covid, no, they also now never go below 15 bucks a month on discounts which for me is even more in euro, 17 to be exact. For 4 videos a month, that's greedy.
What is it with porn companies and always trying to nickle and dime their customers instead of providing better services?
As Gabe once said, piracy is a service problem.

^^^ You know what? You're right. I was wrong. I underestimated the number of scenes back then that featured the husband/boyfriend or some sort of humiliation.
I haven't seen most of those scenes you mentioned in years. Perhaps with the higher frequency and quality of content aside from that back then, I must've developed a somewhat idealised memory of the past consistency of the site.
I think with the current reduced output and the general, IMO, downturn in quality, the scenes where those scenarios arise stand out more. And they certainly appear more frequent: of 32 scenes released this year, at least 10 of them featured a husband or boyfriend lurking in the scene or experiencing some form of humiliation. I would guess that's probably a significantly higher proportion than in the past.
I will disagree with you on some points though. You say that there's been nothing similar this year to what you highlighted from 2016. That's not true. As I mentioned earlier, the Ariana Van X scene featured her making out with the other guy right beside her husband. In the Apolonia scene the husband is watching her via video link getting fucked. In the Lya Missy scene she points at a guy and asks her husband if she can fuck him and he says, only if she films it so he can watch. In the Avery Cristy scene the boyfriend is sent the video of her fucking his friend. And so on. It's definitely as bad as anything they've done before, but apparently even more off-putting due to current circumstances on the site.
I stand by the assertion that this crap is reserved almost exclusively for their IR sites, due to outdated tropes about IR porn and its appeal. I'm not sure what descriptions you were reading on Vixen, because that Emelie Crystal / Eveline Dellai scene is a rare exception to the rule on that site where cheating scenarios involve a man being seduced by the female star.
In an article in AVN Laurent Sky was discussing their new site Slayed had some things that stood out to me : "If you look very closely and analyze what we did with the content from three or four years ago until today-with Blacked, Vixen and Tushy-if you look at it, we took the decision to progressively shift to a cinema look. We did it slowly. We didn't want to shock the audience. We didn't want to go super moody. We did a very slow progression. Every update on the site looks like you could be watching a TV series." "So the audience doesn't get shocked. A lot of the audience is old school and just wants to see hardcore sex. They're all about hardcore. When you look very closely from three years ago until now, we are a full-on cinema company and we are the only cinema company in the adult industry."
No wonder they are dropping the ball and confirms my suspicion that they were deliberating changing their formula. I just want hardcore sex but filmed with a gloss to it but not "cinema". It also has been a slow progression that while didnt "shock" me I could progressively feel myself not liking the site as much as I did. This approach didnt help. They had something uniquely good but now I think they are going in the wrong direction. The Deeper type stuff and this new Slayed are the complete opposite of what I want for Blacked. Whats worst I dont see anyone in the market that provides what Blacked did. I suppose Jules Jordan but he just uses one guy and doesnt update that frequently. Darkx is in the ball park but just doesnt do it for me as much as Blacked did. So frustrating that VMG is going in this direction.
^ Wow. Thanks for finding that. It certainly confirms what I've complained about previously regarding the obvious change in style and tone and the aesthetic appeal of the sites. It's deeply disappointing to hear that it was indeed a deliberate choice and therefore highly unlikely to revert to how it used to be.
They don't understand what they've stolen from the "old school" fans for whom these sites were a godsend among an existing sea of low rent hardcore, reality porn and tedious "cinematic" studios. As you say, Blacked etc offered hardcore with a glossy, softcore touch but without the tediousness of arty, "cinematic" porn production. Now it's gone, there are no alternatives and we're essentially back to the pre-Blacked status quo.
BTW, how often have people on this forum insisted that nothing has changed about the sites? Or that they're make changes because they've crunched the numbers and heard the feedback and are providing what customers want? Yet here is Laurent Sky explicitly confirming that they made changes in spite of the audience and their expectations. They have done this entirely for themselves, not for customers.
It almost feels as if they think porn is beneath them.. it's honestly a little pretentious. The whole new vibe of the sites feels all around pretentious.
But let's be honest... when blacked came out at the time it was classified as "art" and if they want to hold onto that label then they have to change with the times. Perhaps just like many people were persuaded to watch IR porn because of the old blacked format, there are even more people today who might be persuaded to watch a porn scene if it looked more like a typical production you'd see on a streaming service... who knows
I personally was never a fan of the original style, though ya it did have a certain appeal... But i'll admit that what brought me to the site was the fact that it made IR mainstream and featured what seemed to be girls who wouldn't film IR on any other site because here it was done more respectfully and glamorously...
If they want cinematic then they have to take it even deeper (no pun intended) and add a budget and come up with complex story lines and scenarios so at least the situations will be sexy... if their goal is ultimately to make movies on par with cinema that have real sex in them then that's an interesting goal
But they'd still have a problem and that is that to have a cinematic look and feel you're basically making it so that your audience can never really focus on anything for too long and that's the polar opposite of what porn is... porn works more in a frame of realism (whether there's a storyline or not).
High definition, high frame rate, high contrast and clarity, minimal camera movement...
With a cinematic look and feel things are blurry and constantly in motion and you only see what the director thinks is cool and if that director is not an absolute sexual genius then the scene will fall flat.
They want to reinvent the wheel but i'm not sure they're quite talented enough or if it's even possible
If you ask me i'd say the site with the most clear and beautiful porn these days is Hussiepass
aaaanyway i've ranted on long enough

Ah, the good old days....how we miss you. They hardly ever even cast women of that caliber anymore. I wish Lansky had stuck around as the casting director. Juliana Grandi casts the same exact body type over and over again for the Euro scenes. The cheating/humiliation aspect came in pretty early on and I always hated it. You had to try to ignore it, until they referred to it with some stupid, poorly delivered line during the scene, or showed the other guy. Plenty of sexy set-ups you can do without some cheating scenario....if you have a shred of imagination. I also don't watch porn for "cinematic" filming. The original glossy, high contrast style was perfect.
2019 was when the cinematic style really started to seep in but it was still well done and featured everything that made those sites great.
the Riley Reid/Gabbie Carter scene was probably the best of that year IMO.
Don't get me wrong I still enjoy them today but they tend to irritate me more nowadays with their cutting corners on certain things (Sloppy Editing, Stripping, Angles)
That's interesting. How long is it since you posted there? I can't remember seeing your username before when I've been reading the comments. I've clocked other users of this forum even when they don't have the same username, just from their prose or what they've said. What badge do currently hold? Maybe that'd make you easier to spot when you do post in future.
