In the blackedraw thread someone showed a picture of the scene and it says that the Gianna scene is part 1 of something so maybe the date change is to align it with the other parts. We will have to see but yes it would be a big downgrade if they start releasing even less scenes.
Nancy Ace being in an intro and not in an actual Blacked video is a big tease. Wish they could get her in one already.

I wouldn't mind the flood of Euro girls scenes if we got different body types or group scenes at least. They all are starting to blend together at this point.
Very much agreed on both counts. A Euro orgy scene would be great. Mary is very hot, but this same body type over and over and over again is getting old. How about some busty girls for a change? Although I sure wouldn't complain about a Nancy Ace scene. She is just on another level.
I like that they have Gianna as the star as she is really hot but damn does this story stuff not make any sense. At the end of the day this is jerkoff material. When I click a video to jerkoff why do I want melodrama with car accident to start? Maybe the sex will be filmed good but that isnt forefront in the trailer.

Looks like another DP-less showcase. I don't get it, how are they expecting to draw additional customers if there's nothing "new" in here with respect to the porn action?
This is not a criticism of Gianna btw (Gianna is absolutely gorgeous and I will always look forward to her scene). This is solely a criticism of the directors, the marketing team and whoever is making the decisions.
We.want.to.see.porn. Not melodrama, not some convoluted plot, not fancy cars.
Do these people imagine the guys watching this put one of these scenes on one evening, take off their clothes and watch these elaborate plots with their dicks in their hands? "Mmmm, this story has me engorged" "Goddamn, that ferrari better slow down or else Imma cum" "I can't wait to see what happens in the next episode of Pscyhosexual Z"
The whole appeal of showcases before used to be that the girls were doing something that they haven't done before for any other studios. It was the exclusivity and the first-time aspect that appealed to customers. But now it's just an excuse for the directors to flex their artistic skills to whoever they think is watching from Hollywood and the marketing team to flex how much money they can splurge. These showcases have become rap videos, except worse because atleast rap videos will focus on the rap which is what they're meant to do whereas here, they would probably interject 5 minutes of porn with 20 minutes of meaningless plot if they could.
At this point, I'm looking forward more for the Disciples of Desire scene Gianna is releasing through her OF later today
The content of these sites is not being made for the subscribers anymore.
It is being made for the producers and the awards shows.
Whatever you want to see on these sites, forget it. It's not for you anymore.
Enjoy the bruises and blood and shouting and humiliation and laborious dialogue and aerial shots of highways... because whatever you liked about these sites previously is not coming back.
I find it difficult to get excited about a showcase revolving around (a very attractive) model doing the same basic content that she's been doing for years. Will there be anything new about the sex iteself, other than the godawful buildup and production values?
I have no problem paying for what I want to see and it's sad that after so long these sites as a whole no longer have anything beyond discount value for me. I remember the eager anticipation that was in the air when the blurred videos had tags shown for an exclusive scene and we were almost guaranteed that update alone could be worth the price of a sub. Anymore it seems like the VMG sites are the sort you sub to for one month, if you can get a discount, to pick through the handful of scenes that might be worth keeping from the past 6-12mos. Imho, that's what breeds piracy more than anything else, you devalue your own product to the point someone no longer feels any remorse for stealing it. I don't know if that's a factor for digital thieves, but it makes sense, sadly enough.

There are definitely situations that make a sexual encounter way more sexy... but judging by past productions it seems that this showcase is gonna be more about them stroking their own egos than it is about us stroking our....
There are people "counting down the days" for this things to come out. There is no reason to up their game with this much complacency for paying customers. I am a porn viewer that thinks that a little story can actually enhance a scene, if done properly. Gianna's first scene for Deeper (when it was still called TrenchcoatX) is my favorite porn scene ever, partially for that reason. I just fail to see how a car accident enhances sex.

Well looks like another little 50 Shades ersatz from Kross. She just lives those convoluted plots with humiliation, domination and abuse. All of it shot in a disco lighting and pretentious artsy camera angles. I was hoping to subscribe to those websites again this year, I guess this isn't happening for now. God I miss the good old days of the Carter Cruise or Dani Daniels showcases.
I'm fine with a plot in porn but not to the point where VMG has gone, VMG has just become a pretentious hardcore skinemax.
from a consistency POV the years 17/18/19 was when VMG was at it's best IMO, Don't get me wrong we had some gems since (Especially Avery Cristy related) but 20/21 was when it started to get all "Cinema" on us.
If you were still of the misapprehension that this company respects its subscribers or their opinions, this is Kayden Kross's personal response to initial disgruntlement with this showcase and the fact that it's spread over 5 sites:
"I think the bigger pity is that you're making judgements on a project before you've even seen it and attempting to amplify the noise of 3 whole people who are bouncing around to make the same complaint in different places. This project is fantastic and the whole point is that it doesn't belong in one box."
It's not the same 3 people complaining. There are various complaints, including from members who have been subscribed for over 2 years and others I've regularly seen commenting (i.e. subscribed) for even longer than that.
Some of their most committed customers are expressing displeasure with the way the sites are being run and they're dismissed basically as trolls.
As I've said previously, these sites are not being run to satisfy the subscribers anymore, they're being run to indulge the producers. As noted earlier in this thread, Laurent Sky admitted that they deliberately moved away from what the customers want or expect, to something that they preferred to produce.
I see that a few members in the comments are beginning to acknowledge that they're getting stiffed on the 7 day updates and that it's unlikely to go back to the normal 5 days. However, they still don't seem to recognise that as long as they're handing over their money, there's no reason for the producers to address their complaint. There's one guy there who's been signed up 3-6 months, who says "go back to 5 day releases or you'll lose subscribers". Except, if he's been a member for 3-6 months, that means he signed up when it was 7 day updates.
As long as you're handing over your subscription fee, they have no incentive to revert to the normal schedule or address your complaints about the change in style that the network has undergone at the whim of the producers.
This is where I am at. In the past I have been subscribed for years at a time but now its just a month every once and awhile .This week I just ended my month subscription. I criticize because I am a fan of their stuff but its not the same as it was where I would anticipate the reveal of the scene and now its a handful of scenes that are good. The scenes I did enjoy a lot was the scenes of Stefany Kyler, Sybil A, Lottie Magne and Lika Star scenes. I think Julia Grandi has a formula down that makes for a hot scene and I was more than satisfied with them.I also liked the Jane Rodgers scene. I also downloaded other scenes that I havent gotten around to viewing. I didnt continue with the subscriptions in part because of the release schedule and this upcoming showcase. I am baffled by the tone of it, the banner they have advertising it has a knife emoji, I dont see the sex appeal here. Maybe the sex is shot hot but I will see months from now when there is enough scenes to check out.
More scenes like how Julia Grandi does but removing the tint and changing the American scenes to be in bright white rooms instead of these night scenes they have mostly done past two months and reverting schedule to a scene once every 5 days and I would be excited again.
Porn critics and awards are suckers for this type of stuff. It's no different from Oscars and how niche a movie has to be to have a chance at winning one of the big categories. Because anomaly means quality, I guess. On the other hand, porn fans are not aware of the power their wallets have and as such, will continue to be disappointed by this pretentious and anomalous content.
At the end of the day, it's not my money, but I just think the Blacked and it's siblings have delivered great scenes consistently in the past, even after Greg stepped away from directing, and it's unfortunate to see them move away from that. There are less and less legitimately good porn websites out there and that sucks.

I am happy to review comments here that explain the site is not interested in their customers' comments, only what their producers see fit ... the lack of acknowledgement from the site in my attempts to touch base is disappointing and a very poor business practice .... oh well, it is their business ... Yeah, I don't think anyone is asking for all this complexity. Just think of all the talent they could have paid for by not filming all this stuff that everyone is going to fast forward over anyway. Unless you're so impressed with their current releases I'd recommend you sign up once or twice per year for one month at a time and just download any past scenes you're interested in.
One month for these sites isn't worth $50, but if you harvest 5-6mos worth of content with a one-month sub you'll be closer to breaking even with the quality of their recent catalog.
