It doesnt look particularly glamourous here. Just kind of grey and dull. Its a little nit picky but just isnt optimal and dont know why they moved away from the bright white rooms.

It looks bad, you are not being nit picky. This looks like they shot corpses found in garbage can. Giving director contract to Laurent Sky is the most expensive thing vixen ever did. They basically lost my goodwill because of this one guy.
How about investing in a young American woman for a director? Someone who is not an anon and can promote the brand on instagram etc. Because seriously what is this??
Blacked used to have some interesting story backgrounds. For example, at the earliest time, what I thought was more interesting was Jillian Janson's story: a beautiful woman was seduced and had sex with two strong men next door to her boyfriend. But now there are fewer interesting story backgrounds
Recently, I think the two scenes directed by Julia Grandi have a good background: Venera Maxima in Blaked and Stefany Kyler in Tushy.
If I were asked to put forward suggestions for improvement, I would suggest improving the script first. After all, Blacked is different from Blackedraw. The odds are against it being a creampie scene. I think she once said on social media that she'd only ever done one genuine creampie scene and that was a long time ago. Seems like its never been her 'thing'. Having said that......I would have also said the odds on her popping up on Blacked for an IR anal scene were poor.....so who knows?!
I like Blacked but yeesh it's stories need sorting, It's mostly "My white husband/BF is a dick, I'll fuck this black guy to show him" (I thought we were past that)
Vixen/Deeper/Tushy have decent stories or arcs and some even WITH IR, I don't get why Blacked is so bland.
I liked the Ski resort episodes & the Sonya Blaze Beauty Contest episode (But they seem to be exception not the rule), More of that please.
Gabbie is a smokeshow, and anal is a bonus, but personally thought her last scene with Piper was a little underwhelming. Suspect the new scene may be low on the intensity, but I hope I'm wrong.
Like you, I also like these episodes. I even think the story of Sonya Blaze and Joss in Blackedraw is better than many Blacked stories. The only small regret is that Sonya was not Creampie (my favorite)
Many of Julia's scenes are very good on location, but sometimes they are also very common in stories. If only Sonya's beauty pageant story could be made into a series, I remember there are only two scenes in this theme.

About Story Arcs: Let's say BLACKED shoots a 3 or 4 scene arc/showcase with a girl like in the old days. 4 scenes would be a month's shooting budget and production time, so they would release all 4 scenes consecutively to get back their return and free up cashflow. For the fans here that enjoy these showcases, they are great. But for the website, they are terrible. You get a massive cohort of users complaining the same girl repeats. The marketing channels such as tube sites and affiliates, also don't like girls repeating that often.
The solution would be to shoot more story arcs and more girls ahead of time, so you can release them in alternating updates. But that requires a lot of capital and production time up front. In the Lansky days, content wasn't ready until a couple of weeks ahead sometimes. He would try to setup interconnecting stories as a compromise

Which is why I like the idea of showcases. It requires genuine star power to captivate audience for over a month. On the other hand, same day site wide 'showcase' requires nothing special. Just a quick spike that disappears. Netflix dumps their seasons like this and there is a reason no one has emulated that model.
A showcase in the traditional sense shows the studio has great confidence in their model, which should be very flattering for her and her fans.
Now I don't see a future of blacked. But I do wonder why vixen doesn't do showcase. The desire to put special focus on one site is definitely reduced when you own five of them.
That, or having just one, strong website. Not five.

Guess it was an easy peasy decision to make more money for the executives. Don't expect people to feel strongly about that though. You've clearly bit more than you could chew, properly.
In fact, they can set up related stories. This series of stories does not require the same actress to have sex in every scene. When other actresses play a sex story, the heroine only needs to appear in the front and end of the stories
For example, in the beauty pageant story of Sonya Blaze, the next performance can be Lika star or Liya silver. Imagine how interesting it would be if Lika and Liya came to BBG or BGG next.
Now the situation is that Blacked's stories is more and more like Blackedraw, but the scale is not as big as raw
Same with the Ski episodes, They're not related in a story sense but it feels as though they are due to the location and themes yet they use different actresses.
I'll give credit and say Blacked have some decent stories recently - Pipe Dream (Kayley Gunner) - Adrenaline (Little Dragon) - Friendly Wager (Mary Rock) & Fierce Competition (Jia Lissa, Lika Star) = Both Ski Episodes - Crushin (Rachael Cavalli)
But most are like I've said "My White Husband/BF is a dick, So I'll fuck this Black guy to show him" or "I met this black guy on holiday, We fucked".
The latter I'm OK with but give it something else, Adrenaline & Stiff Competition used that angle but that little extra story gave it some flavour.
I won't rag on the sex itself as that's more often than not excellent.
That could be done without breaking the bank, They could do a transatlantic 2 parter say for example
Episode 1 (a US shot scene for Blacked) = Rich American housewife loves her husband but he works away a lot but thankfully they have an open marriage and the wife meets a guy they have a bit of a build up then they screw, It ends with the wife sending a text/selfie of her tryst to her Husband who's away on business with a "Love you" at the end
Episode 2 (a European scene for Tushy/Vixen) = Opens with the Husband seeing the text and responds with a thumbs up emoji cut to him in his meeting sitting with his scene partner (Liya Silver, Lika Star etc) some build up then sex. Have it end with him responding to the text with his own selfie/emoji with a "Love you too" at the end and she responds with a thumbs up emoji
A 2 part story that covers both sites without having to fly anyone in/out.
Also there's VXN Academy that was used in "Love Triangle", They could use other sports/stuff for scenes - MMA - Ballet - Boxing - Swimming

It makes more sense for American girls to tour Europe than vice versa. I want to see Gianna Dior with Eiffel tower as backdrop. Greg shot Tori Black in Paris.
Don't hold your breath waiting for Blacked to revert to creative storylines. You are right that in the beginning there were some excellent storylines that added considerably to the actual sex scenes. We now have Blacked basically using the same cookie cutter storylines over and over again which really downgrades their product. Some imagination being re-introduced would be welcomed, but again, do not hold your breath. Also, I would be against storylines revolving around kissing by a river ... LOL ...
Freddy Gong hasn't done a scene for either blacked or blackedraw in a while (or probably he did but yet to release).. Have they dropped him from casting or what? I loved his contrast with ladies. And if they have indeed dropped him, then I think they under utilised him. He is, arguably, the darkest man they have casted. They should have utilised this unique feature much more..
I guess their American and European teams are separated and work at different times, so it may not be realistic for them to cooperate across the Atlantic, so it may be easier for American girls to shoot in Europe, so that the American team can shoot in the beautiful natural scenery, I want to see Emily Willis DP on the beach.I think Anton Harden is very good because he works well with actresses in most cases. In addition, the proportion of creampie in his Blacked scenes is very high (my personal preference). There are only three scenes without creampie, which is why I look forward to the performance of Gabbie Carter and him so much.
He's done a lot of work with Bangbros since then, so I'm pretty sure he's out of the VMG rotation for now. He was in that Lottie Magne + Talia Mint scene on BlackedRaw not too long ago, but I'm guessing they must have had that (and his Stefany Kyler scene) in the vault for a while. Would be nice to see him with some of the new girls - the dark skin makes for good contrast, but he's also got the mix of being easygoing and having good chemistry/banter with the girls, but still being able to pound them.
Gabbie Carter and Anton harden cooperated very well together. I think they did better than Gabbie's last one in blacked. Although they didn't have my favorite Creampie (true or false), they replaced it with a lot of tit fuck + cumshot. I hope they can cooperate again in Blackedraw to make up for the small regret of not having Creampie that time.
Anton's current cooperation with several young girls has a good chemical reaction. At present, my favorite ranking is Blake Blossom > Liz Jordan > Gabbie Carter > Gianna Dior. In addition, the scene of Jane Rogers is also good. Maybe next time Blacked's directors can consider letting him and other girls shoot the scenes by the pool a few more times.

Gonna have to check this one out for pronebone because I'm a fan of that position myself. I'm hearing Gabbi was able to bring her personality to scene which is very nice. Also like how Anton is basically miniature man with big cock and how that contrasts with Gabbi's perfect body.
LOL @ Gabbie's "Move your hands, let me do the work!" Nice little break of character there.
And man, Anton usually makes for good action, but exhibits zero personality. Must not be experienced with acting, so they give him as few lines as possible in the buildup. Only one comparable is that Michael Williams guy who was in a few scenes back in the day. Don't need a scenery-chewer like Prince, but something in the middle (like pretty much all the other guys) would make the scenes more fun IMO.
The man was apparently homeless at one point? So he's probably still getting used to all this attention (altho I think he used to perform under a different name previously)
