Blacked and VMG quality is really starting to slip nowadays. Firstly I really hate how the production crew is so obsessed with making sure the male performer's dick is covered in lube at all times that they have this really cringey tactic of zooming in on the girl's face, applying the lube, then zooming back out and panning to the now fully greased-up dick as if we're too stupid to realize that it wasn't just added by a random member of the production crew. Natural pussy juice is good enough, it doesn't need to be dripping wet all the damn time.
The second issue is the sloppy sound editing. In the last Vanna Bardot scene I could hear the director shouting orders several times, and at the end I can hear him very clearly yell "KISS!" so that Vanna could keep kissing Damon's cock after the facial, despite the fact that she had just finished kissing it and was simply waiting for the scene to end at that point.
Also, enough with the false advertising! The gallery for the Vanna Bardot scene had her sucking Damion's cock while wearing pink headphones... which isn't in the final scene! The galleries for most scenes over the past year have been filled with false advertising. What's the point? Cmon guysss! We need Greg back or at least a real visionary like him, this is getting bad.
^ I think we all realise now that the pics in the photo galleries are shot before the actual scene and as a result they sometimes have pics of a pose or a position that doesn't end up in the actual video. TBH I just see those as bonus photos. Where it is false advertising, and this has sometimes happened across the VMG sites, is when they release a pic as part of their pre-advertising for the scene and this clearly is a con and can result in real disappointment.
As for the editing of the scenes, again, I'm sure the great majority of people understand that porn shoots can take hours to complete with loads of stopping and starting. To get a reasonably smooth transition between poses or positions its really common to cut to a face shot of one of the participants and then to go back to the action. I'd personally much rather have a reasonably smooth scene with transitions like this than watch clumsy repositioning of the participants between poses where you watch them move around in what for me is 'dead time'. Where the editing is good you don't really notice these transitions unless it's really clumsy. I dick that had no lube on suddenly being covered with lube would be one example of a clumsy transition. All I can say is that with the size of some of these dicks in the Blacked scenes I'm sure the girls really welcome all these lube stops as it will make it much more comfortable for them!
nah dude, the galleries nowadays are unacceptable because they are going out of their way to show us things that would look great in the final scene but just aren't there. The "preppy girls remake" that they did with Blake Blossom and two other girls last year was one of the best examples because they showed so many sex positions and angles that where in the original but aren't ACTUALLY in the remake. The Demi Hawks scene was another great example, with her wearing socks in the gallery but none in the scene, like why tf wouldn't you also have her wear those socks in the scene as well? I haven't seen any other porn studios do this and VMG never did this either before 2025.Yeah! that is literally what I was talking about. They pan away from the dick, then pan back to the now fully lubed-up dick seconds later to basically tell us "hey look how much lube we just added!" which is super weird. The normal way to do it is to just stop the action, apply lube, then continue the action from a different angle without focusing on the dick. I don't know if they think the current approach is more "smooth" or something but they need to stop because it's just cringe.
^ Trust me....VMG has a long history of doing this! In the past they've actually posted stills from a scene that made you think there was anal in a scene when in the final video there was none. The socks thing I don't care about. If you get extra pics of things that didn't make the final scene I take it as a bonus. I know that the stills aren't of the actual 'action' so I'm not especially fussed. I'm more fussed when there's a particularly hot section of a scene that there are no pics for, especially when they do reverse cowgirl, and that happens as well!

^Just as the name suggests blackedraw is produced more through the amateur-lens akin to what solo creators like rickyroom and jaxslayher make .Low lighting,less story stuff and more action.
