Here's some ways they could easily improve the scenes:
- Ditch the crappy interviews and aimless wandering for better storylines, i.e. not just the female performer speaking into a phone/camera going "OMG, I met the hottest guy..." between periods of standing/wandering around in every scene. - Buy some sexier outfits than the current housewife's date night wardrobe and throw a bit of kink (other than women pissing everywhere) into the scenes occasionally - latex, leashes, boots, oil, etc - so that not every scene looks like a carbon copy. - Change the setting occasionally. The current location/setting is clearly limiting to the point of interminable repetitiveness.
I hate to say it, but this is another area where Julia Grandi actually gets what's generally expected from porn. Her produced scenes for this site have shown Jia Lissa playing a girl sneaking out of her house to meet up with her boyfriend and getting fucked in a parking lot over the trunk of a car; Rebecca Volpetti playing a race girl in a leather catsuit, getting taken back to a hotel and shared as the prize for a pair of street racers; Cayenne Klein fucking her cab driver after her neglectful boyfriend ditches her; Angel Emily getting picked up by four guys on a night out, stripping and twerking for them in the back of a hummer stretch limo, then getting gangbanged back at the hotel room; Emily Cutie jumping on a bus late at night, dudes start chatting her up, she sucks them off on the bus while passengers film, then they take her to a hotel and DP her. And so on.
You can argue about the quality of the scenes, but at least the Euro directors/producers are trying to make their scenes unique and interesting and fit the theme of spontaneous and taboo hook-ups. The American scenes are all just so vanilla and repetitive. Even scenes with performers I really like are mostly non-events. The last American scene on this site that I truly enjoyed was Adria Rae back in October.
The IR sites on this network need new American directors/producers, because right now they are producing by far the most uninspiring content on the network.

I wrote her off long ago as a hack, but I'll go watch a few of her latest scenes and see what they've perhaps turned into. I'll say up front it'll be an uphill battle because anything with Manuel and/or Maitland Bored is an instant skip. But, at your recommendation, I'll give it a second look.
It's not Riley's fault. Three scenes with the Blacked studio and these guys have screwed all of them up in one way or another. And it is so disappointing because she is one of my favorites. I don't know what has happened to Raw in particular and am wondering who exactly it is being geared towards. They did some good scenes there for a while but it seems like something has gone wrong somewhere.
1. Why oh why would you leave a dress on that amazing body for most of the scene, yet the dude is naked almost right away. I was like....take off the dress!...one minute into the scene! I am guessing most fans want to see her great body fully naked as soon as possible. This babe has put in the effort for abs....show them! 2. Why can't there be more focus on the female's body during the BJ parts? Some shots of that great ass from behind while she is sucking would be great in addition to what they usually do, or some 69 action with her on top. 3. Again with the couch obsession! I don't know of too many fans begging to see fucking on a couch. Why, why, why would you leave a perfectly good bed to go film some worse looking angles on a couch? Sex just looks better and hotter on a bed. If there's one there, you use it. Two Raw scenes for Riley and no cowgirl on a bed! At least in the Blacked scene they were spread out on the floor, which makes the woman's ass look hotter when she's laying instead of sitting. 4. No chemistry in that scene at all. Dude had wood problems throughout(should be an impossibility considering it's with Riley) and he didn't even attempt to kiss that amazing babe! Hope they never use that guy again....seemed to just be going through the motions. Size isn't everything. 5. Lame facial ending...the boring, over-used, industry standard....no creampie....boo!
Well, the scene she directed for Riley on Blacked was very well directed, but that lighting....oh man...facepalm. I still think she has lighting issues now. But I would certainly like to give her a chance on this site, considering what they've been serving up lately.
Beware the current hype re. Kayden Kross. It's safe to say she appreciates the female performers more than the guys producing Blacked/Raw at the moment, but her scenes' storylines are still exceedingly long-winded and self-indulgent and she still has a tendency to undermine scenes with terrible lighting and camera choices. She's not the solution to Blacked/Raw's current problem of directorial decision-making and superfluous nonsense getting in the way of straightforward tales showcasing beautiful women getting fucked.
