In particular, she, as far as I know, lost her brother about a year ago. And from what I understand, that's the main reason for her depression, but there are likely other reasons as well. As for the others, I think the reasons vary. Someone no longer communicates with relatives, someone is worried about the loss of former glory, someone is just tired of constant filming and, of course, drugs, etc.
Yes i know that with her brother... sometimes there are no reason if someone is depressed or not .. its really a hard ilness and many think that it is not serious.. for me it is one of the most difficult diseases...especially the girls in porn struggle many of them but they rarely share this

I've listened to the whole 2 hours of the above interview and if you're into Blake it's a fascinating listen at all levels. When she talks about 'depression' it's clearly not the psychotic type that results from chemical imbalance in the brain but her personal reaction to the sadness of the sudden tragic loss of her brother and previously some stress related to last year's AVN. We're not talking about a person here that you could label a 'depressive' and she's doing the healthy thing of discussing it openly and getting help and occasionally 'treatment' for it. No-one needs to get stressed thinking that Blake is going to start doing a ton of anal scenes purely as a reaction to 'depression'! What I found most interesting in what she said in the interview is that she's far more interested in mainstream porn than OF etc and that her reaction to the tragedy of her brother has made her question why she's waiting to do do certain 'new' things in her career rather than getting on with it and doing them. I don't think getting rid of the hair down there has to do with aesthetics so much as it has to do with practicality. Getting rid of the hair solves most of those problems.
