I finally saw a current Andrew Blake video. (Actually, I'm still watching Justine as I write this). This guy is totally awesome! I think anyone who likes nudie mags or porn jpegs should have no problem getting hot watching dvd's like these. Also, if you like goga, you should love Justine (nipple sucking! yay!) Lots of foot/leg fetish too.
I've watched a couple of Blake films (High Heels and Pinups 2) but I just can't get into them because of the editing. I don't mind the relatively softcore nature, and I like the picture quality and cute girls. But I cannot stand the quickfire editing, where the camera shot changes every 5 seconds. Really annoying, in my opinion.
Both of you.... if you haven't seen this thread, you might find it interesting. Blake's later stuff does not employ the quick fire editing of High Heels and Pin Ups. I would give him another chance, timotei, and look to the above thread for recommendations.
I am in the middle of watching Venus Descending. Hot movie with a lot of nudity, no hard core sex. I find the movie to be very erotic. If any one knows of any movies like Venus, please share your suggestions.

I believe Andrew Blake worked for Penthouse as Paul Nevitt. He directed some Penthouse Centerfolds videos in 1991. Paul Nevitt was at least responsible for Volumes 2 and 3.
In 1995, the year he made Venus Descending , Andrew Blake also directed another soft core film called Miami Hot Talk . Maybe DB should check this one out, since there are also a lot of unfamiliar, model-type (please consider my bad track record with the Male Performer series when I make this call) guys to look at in this flick. The cast is as follows. The guys: Frank Rodriguez, Richard Walker, Sergio Viana, John Swerini, Derek Anfilas, Michael Gradilone, Marcel Salina and Anthony John. The girls: Seana Ryan, Bonita Saint, Tiffany Burlingame, Gina LaMarca, J.C. Collins, Natalie Bach, Levana Holmes, Sonja McDaniel, Taylor St. Claire, Jenteal, Renee, Andrea Marie and Denise Nelson.
I am re-evaluating my thoughts on Blake, who I totally abandoned by the late-90s when gonzo firmly gripped my mind. When I was in a long-term relationship, my girlfriend seemed to enjoy his flicks, and it definitely juiced things up from time to time. Lyons is swapping me some DVDs to check out, which will be interesting for me to see because I haven't really watched much from Blake since around the time of "Sensual Exposure." I watched Arianna last night and I am thoroughly disillusioned. This flic is terrible. A bunch of poor S&M shots rather than Blake's trademark erotica. If this is his new direction, count me out.
I really didn't like Adriana at all, either ABC. Thankfully though, there's a fair amount of Blake's stuff that I still haven't seen, so I don't have to rely too heavily on his new stuff yet. :)
Although I'm certainly interested in bondage themes, I did not like what I saw in Adriana at all. I also didn't like the over-exposed visual style that he employed. I found the edging of the background quite annoying, and the picture detail just didn't read as clear to me as a result. Finally, I just wasn't too fond of most of the cast of this one. I'm sure that some others will like it, but I didn't find much to like at all. I support the idea that he's interested in exploring new things, I just hope he continues that exploration of new ideas rather than sticking with what we saw in Adriana. I would also, personally, like to see him giving another composer a chance. Raoul Valve's stuff is very hit or miss with me.

I hated the bit with the uber-torture high heels. They reminded me of foot binding... and there's absolutely nothing erotic to me about that. :) It's odd though--I didn't like this one, yet loved the similar themes of Fashionistas. One of those things I just can't explain easily I suppose.
In Venus Descending who is the woman being auctioned off in the beginning of the film and in the Secrets of Seduction chapter who is the woman who pours hot wax on the other woman? What are their names and what elsa are they in?
