Anybody ordered from Blissbox yet?
I found some topics about them but they are fairly old.
I've recently ordered 2 DVDs and they charged me 35 Euros for one even though it is listed as 15 Pounds Sterling on the website!
Sent numerous emails to them but no response so far...
The prices they have are really great though if one could only be charged in Pounds (not from the UK but the exchange rate is quite nice at the moment). But so far my experience with them is putting me a bit off!

I ordered a Blu-Ray a few months ago and it arrived in about a week to the U.K. as they're shipped from The Netherlands.
I was charged in pounds sterling at the listed price that came up when i selected that currency and pressed update basket on the order screen.
I suspect your charged in the currency local to your shipping location and it's up to you to make sure you select the correct one as the prices do vary greatly from one currency to another.
i.e i ordered Jesse Jane: Kiss Kiss Blu-Ray= $49.95 or Euro 39.95 or £29.95
Not sure if thats any help or not

Hi, yes I've noticed that the prices vary greatly too. However this only seems to be the case with old titles the new items they add seem to have exactly the same price in pounds or euros. They've replied to me now and told me I had to pay in euros. I've asked them to exchange this 35 euros item for two other items that are the same amount combined.
The Blu-ray prices they have are really unrivaled (some titles at least), I think I'm gonna do most of my shopping with them now.

I have to assume this post is spam and so removed it. Deeny, I have not deactivated your account though. You're welcome to participate if it's not to promote a specific company. -Steph

You're right. I was just too lazy to write in this thread but in the end my experience with them was pretty bad too. I asked them countless times to exchange one item which I ordered in Pounds (but which had showed up to be much more expensive in Euros right after I clicked on "complete order") for two other items that were the same amount. They totally ignored all of my emails and shipped my order anyway.

Here's a quote from the Blissbox site, from the billing issues page
"If you are shopping on the UK site you will be charged in Pounds Sterling and if you are shopping on the German, Dutch or Belgium Site you will be charged in Euros. Place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency."

Well, guess what? I was shopping on the UK site!
So apparently this sentence is a lie.
And the problem wasn't so much that I was charged in Euros because that's no problem at all. The problem was that I was charged a much higher amount for one particular DVD in Euros than the amount listed on the website in Pounds. And they only showed me this other amount after I had clicked on "complete order".

I've ordered quite a few DVDs from Blissbox in the past and I have experienced no problems. I stopped buying from them when I realised it was cheaper to buy from the States and they don't always have the titles I want.
