Do anybody know why Blu-ray porn cost is so high? I hear that to make a Blu-ray disc and Dvd cost is about the same. Blu-ray porn movie prices are around the upper $50 per movie if you go to a store like the Lion Den. Looking around online all the prices are very high like CD Universe. Do so little number of people buy them that the price have to stay high? How do the adult biz expect Blu-ray porn to take over dvd with super high prices?

Blu-ray and DVD discs are not the same price to produce at all. Over here at the moment you have to pay 8 Euro per disk just for the Blu-ray license. The license cost on a DVD is about 20 cents. That's a large difference.

Not to mention the authoring is more complicated and time consuming. For cutting you need high end equipment, also to shoot the movie.
