Can any of you (studios) bring the French Studio Blue One to the U.S. under your label? Especially asking Wicked since that company brought Marc Dorcel here. Also, how successful was bring Marc Dorcel here? Perhaps more European Studio movies could be released under U.S. lables.

Why don't you just buy a PAL capable DVD player and buy your Blue One DVD's direct from European shops?

Access is key. I would prefer to deal with domestic shipping, domestic companies, better pricing, more reliability, not going through customs and the ability to rent.

Customs isn't a problem to be honest nor have I had a problem with reliability of foreign sellers as long as you research them first. The end cost is often much higher though (and can be hard to figure out before purchasing).

I also would like to add time (order to receiving), domestic companies are more likely to be accountable for mistakes or lost shipments, and while customes may not be an issue, its just one less layer I'd like to go through. Bottomline given the option of domestic or foreign availability of the same title people in general would much rather go with domestic.

Me, too. However, the fact of the matter is that very few foreign titles get released in the US. Maybe somebody will do a deal with Blue One, but that doesn't mean they'll pick up the titles that you're looking for. Good luck, though.
