Found this site whilst searching for a supplier for "The Scottish Loveknot - special edition", which they have for £23.99 incidentally.

Prices include UK delivery and are posted from within the UK. They claim they supply the full versions rather than R18 etc.

Anybody used them before?

I have used blue star many times simply because of UK dispatch. Never had any problems, delivery quick as well.

Well I decided to take a chance and order "The Scottish Loveknot" two disc edition from this outfit and now I'm regretting it after they've palmed me off with the one-disc version.

They say: "Private have informed us that the special edition is no longer available so that's why they sent us the normal disk. We will change our site details to reflect this. There is however no difference in the price."

Last order they'll get from me.

"No difference in the price" my arse!!!! That is complete bullshit Athos, and I don't blame you boycotting them in future. Everyone else should do the same.
And the two-disk edition IS DEFINITELY still available, I saw it on sale here in Germany only the other day.

Sorry Athos to here about your trouble with blue star, you really should get a refund as its not what you ordered. I checked there web site and can now only see the one disk version.

Well when I ordered their sited pictured the two-disc version and the description clearly stated two discs plus booklet on the movie. Obviously they have now changed the details as they said they were going to.

I think I'm just going to have to write this off as I can't think of any course of action that isn't time consuming or embarrassing. It annoys that they think they can get away with this because adult material and we won't dare complain to third-parties.

Hey Athos , that's a real shame what happened to you . There have been other similar experiences posted here on this thread ( though not with this company ) . One of them was favorably resolved when the victim told the DVD retailer that he was going to post on ADT and email Google to get their ads removed . I'm not suggesting you threaten them but you could send them an email saying how disappointed you were to receive what is in effect the wrong disc . Maybe you could start it ' I discovered your site while surfing on Adult DVD Talk .....'
