| BangersAndMash Member  290 Posts 3/09 |  Posted - Mar 4 2009 : 11:59AMcan any industry folks tell me what the current thinking/situation is with classic films shot on celluloid and their suitability to be restored for BD release? i'm aware that classics shot on tape are unsuitable for hi-def release but film offers a good opportunity to breath new life into some great films from the 70's and early 80's. are there any companies who hold the rights to these classics in the process of restoring and authoring the films to BD, or even considering it as an option? any info would be welcome:) Edited by - BangersAndMash on Mar 4 2009 [Link] |
