Come on, it doesn't matter whether you win an AVN or not. Its only an award. The fans are more important than any award and Bobbi has a hell of a lot of fans! Seeing Bobbi Starrs name in a scene is like a seal of quality!
I am amazed that Bobbi consistantly doesnt get the awards that I feel she deserves. In my eyes it tends to make a mockery of awards in general but I do know that the pornstars really enjoy being rewarded for outstanding performances and once again despite outstanding performances Bobbi has been overlooked.

I couldn't believe it either, when I read the list of winners yesterday. Funny thing is, Bobbi already told me earlier she wasn't getting her hopes up to high and already suspected she wasn't going to get many. This is outrageously unfair though, after the kind of year Bobbi had....and the kind of consistently good performances she has given for so long. By doing such things, these kind of awards make themselves irrelevant. I hope you don't get discouraged one bit though Bobbi. You know how much you matter to your fans, that's all that matters.

I might be touching a controversial subject here, but does Bobbi being a Speigler girl have anything to do with this? I really don't want to start any mud slinging here, but Speigler girls in general don't win much at the AVN awards even after scoring nominations...in recent times any ways. I am talking about the bigger awards. That might just be a coincidence, but seeing Tori Black win performer of the year again (I love Tori mind you), is baffling when someone like Bobbi Starr is completely ignored. To me, Bobbi should've won performer of the Year...as well as a couple of other awards specially involving anal. Question, who picks the Winners anyway? I mean, is there any transparency what so ever into the process? People directly involved or close to the industry must care about this, if real great talent is to be encouraged for longevity and consistency.
Gutted she missed out on an Award coz she has been a consistent strong performer since day one. Still I'm happy for Tori,but Bobbi probably should have been given her dues.

Bobbi- Thanks for being so amazing at the Evil Angel booth once again this year! You're such a pleasure on every level, and I basically think of you as the closest thing Evil Angel has to a contract girl, but yet you get the perks of still getting to work for other cool companies like Kink. :) So we win all around. ^ AVN blows. No need to expand on that. I just hope people don't hate on Tori because of AVN. It seems some what stupid to have repeat winners in porn. Spread the love I say. Each year there's numerous deserving women up for the awards. This isn't professional sports; there are no stats and performances are very subjective. I'm fine with repeat winners for directors and producers. Reward them for putting out kick ass products!

That's that only explanation I could come up with, after seeing the kind of amazing year you had with all the great work you did, and to not see you win anything. As I said in another thread, you were the Performer of the Year to me, and I am sure many agree with me but we all love Tori too so we don't wanna put her down.
