Nothing dicks me off more than stores claiming something is in stock when it is not, so just wondering. They have great feedback but if any ADT members have references, I'd appreciate hearing them as well. Thanks, BF Edited by - bigferret on Jun 30 2006 [Link] |

He listed the condition of the DVD as "New" (meaning, according to ADM guidelines, factory-sealed, excellent condition), but when I received it the DVD did not arrive in its originally-listed condition. First off, the DVD was opened. Second, the insert of the DVD was a bit worn, and the disc had some scratches, which makes the DVD's overall condition as "good" to "very good." Like all DVDs I purchase off the Internet, I expected my DVD to arrive the way it was originally listed as, and I got duped. So I confronted him with this situation via e-mail, and in his first reply he said that the "new" condition listing was a "mistake." Well, if the guy knew that it was a mistake then why didn’t he correct it in the first place before listing the DVD? I said this and more in my second e-mail to him and he said things like "my feedback is always good...," "doesn’t matter...," "what’s your point?" and a bunch of nonsense. How the hell could this guy not see my point? I was slightly disappointed with my transaction (I say "slightly" because I did give points for him being quick on delivery) and I'm gonna give you the feedback that you deserve that I felt reflected this transaction, and that's my point. I was getting ready to leave him the appropriate feedback when this seller responded to me again, giving me a free DVD offer of my choice. Being a sucker for free things (especially when it's of my choice), I accepted the offer and our situation became moot. However, I felt like this offer does not make him a good seller in my eyes, despite the good feedback I left for this person so I could get him (hell, it could also be a her) off my back. This was my one and only transaction with this seller, and I'm not sure if I'll be buying anything from this guy again. The rest of you that experienced better transactions are pretty lucky. |
